Zack stared at the backs of the guards running away to reach the cafeteria. "Those MS offs haven't found the Sybervirian yet. That means the Sybervirian just mutated, and the body inside hasn't been ingested." He could jump from the excitement. "I heard that seeing the host body of a mutated Sybervirian gives you good luck."
Everyone knew the host inside a Sybervirian was long dead. It was its food source that enabled its rapid growth. When that food got depleted, it would begin its obsessive hunt for human meat.
Tess resisted the urge to tell Zack to become a mortician and rushed off down another corridor.
"Hey! Where are you going?" Lanse yelled before following behind her. "Isn't the Sybervirian that way?"
Zack didn't say another word to follow Zino and Szedra who had also ran off left him.
