Devotion Paladin

Whispers of Light, Echoes of Darkness

After enduring a life filled with countless injustices at the hands of a merciless system, Alastor finally breaks free. But just as he begins to plot his long-awaited revenge, he finds himself thrust into a world far more perilous than he imagined—a realm shrouded in darkness, plagued by monstrous demons, where the only sanctuary lies within the hallowed walls of the Temple of Light. Alastor, sceptical to his core, scoffs at the notion of gods and blessings. Yet, without true faith, he knows survival in this treacherous land is impossible. His unorthodox solution? Brainwash himself into unwavering devotion. But Alastor’s mind proves more treacherous than any demon. The war between his rational side and his fanatically devoted persona spirals out of control, creating an inner battle as fierce as the external one. Irrational Alastor: “The God of Light is my guiding star and my life. I’ll protect his honour at any cost!” Rational Alastor: “Are you insane? The God of Light is a scumbag. Snap out of it!” Irrational Alastor: “Silence! He is pure and perfect and I won’t hear otherwise!” Rational Alastor: “Uagh! I want to kill myself.” In a world where enemies lurk both outside and within, can Alastor reclaim control of his own mind before he’s consumed by the divine madness he’s created? Or will his greatest enemy truly be himself? Alastor: You! God of light bastard, get your hands off me or else!

The Love Hate Equation

(CONTAINS R18+ CONTENT) "Are you saying you'd let any man get this close?" "ABSOLUTELY NO!" The words burst out of me, too quick, too honest. His smirk deepens. "Tell me, if I leave you like this, all wound up and aching, will you be sneaking off to use one of your little toys?" "Yes," "Tell me, were you waiting for me to initiate something this past week?" he tugs my shorts more and kisses my navel. My heart hammers and my voice comes out shaky. "N-No." I won't give him the satisfaction of knowing he's right. He chuckles darkly. "Wrong answer. Let's try again." **** **** Mu Yiren I never imagined I'd be faking a relationship with my biggest enemy—the untamed, ridiculously charming Feng Junjie, known throughout the city as the "golden boy" of business and a billionaire playboy with a reputation for breaking hearts. But when he dangles a life-changing offer in front of me, the kind that could secure my inheritance, I find myself agreeing to be his "girlfriend." But the thing is….. What if I start seeing the real him? Pretending to be Junjie’s devoted partner is like walking on a razor's edge. He’s everything I can’t stand—sexy, cocky, and devilish, and yet a sweetheart by heart that leaves me flustered by his actions. I know better than to fall for a man like him; my mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s has convinced me to never fall in love. But Junjie isn't just any man. Beneath his easygoing charm is an intensity that leaves me breathless, and he knows exactly how to crack through the walls I have built around me, awakening a passion I never felt before. JUNJIE I need my life back. A sorry attempt at love had me question everything and forced me away from my brothers. Since my ‘ex best friend’s’ constant accusations had gotten out of control, I might as well pretend to date someone and shut her mouth. My definition of a fake date- Beautiful, sexy, tempting…..umm…. insufferable, annoying, and with a mouth that won’t stop running. The mouth with red lipstick. The mouth I want to…. This arrangement was supposed to be simple: fake dating, clear boundaries, no feelings. But the more he plays the role of her devoted partner, the more the lines between fake and real start to blur. And now, he’s no longer sure where the act ends and his true feelings begin. The catch? Mu Yiren doesn’t believe in love. And she certainly doesn’t believe a man like Feng Junjie is capable of anything but heartbreak. But Feng has never been one to follow the rules. Boundaries? He’s about to break them. Deals? They were made to be rewritten. He’s going all in, and this time, he’s not playing pretend.

God Of Fiction: The Faceless One

Gray World is dominated by the will of Gods and thrives under the control of iron gears and steam. It is a place where faith is not a passive devotion but a currency—traded, bought, and sold by churches that wield their gods' influence as weapons. It is a place where value is absolute, value is everything, shaping every belief and controlling every life. Run by ironclad reign of Church of Steel, every life here reeks of smoke and decay, while the Church of Sacrifice whispers promises of salvation through pain and sacrifice. Yet, amidst this ever existing Gods of sacrifice, iron, and decay, a new God descends—one who was once known as The Faceless One, God of Confusion, Keeper of secrets, Messiah of messengers by en masse: the God of Fiction. God of Fiction, Ashur, reincarnates after dying by the wiles of God of Sacrifice and others. Unlike other gods, Ashur, does not demand worship through suffering or material devotion. Instead, he brings something far more dangerous: the ability to weave fantasies into existence, to blur the line between fiction and reality. "Is fiction not a truth waiting to be realized?" Whispers spread among the people—rumors of a church that doesn't preach, of a god who offers not suffering but something far more seductive: choice. They speak of dreams too vivid to be mere illusions and realities that seem to bend to their imaginations. What is fiction, if not another form of reality? When the masses begin to believe, does belief not shape the world itself? As his own proclamation goes— [To not exist does not mean one truly does not exist, for to be known is also a form of existence.] ﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌ [This book has been dropped] [If you want to read something after it, I would recommend, “Death Game: Beyond Reality“]

The Tales of Madness

A pantheon of beings known as Kami or Gods rules the planet of Taria. The Universe created the original two itself when it first made the planet. Others came along as mortals were made and populated once the mortals believed in something so strongly. Then there was one who was a mortal. Kentaro stood up to Kenichi, and the people believed in so much not only did he win, but he was welcomed into the Heavens as a Kami. Then slowly, how he descended. The Tales of Madness consists of three individual tales. Each with their own main characters in the forefront as we follow the descent into madness. Volume One: Tale of a Sumotori On Taria sumo is an ancient sport devoted to a man who stood up to the War Kami Kenichi and won. He fought to decide not only the fate of his town, or the island his town was on, but the entire Sasuke Empire. Now there’s an entire martial art and sport devoted to how the man defeated and became a Kami himself. Hiroshi is a young boy born to an artisan father with a deep love and respect for the traditional sport and ritual of Sumo. After his father’s death, he chases his father’s dream of him becoming not only a sumotori, but a full rikishi. When he’s recruited into the fabled beya of Hajima under the retired Yokozuna Kenjiro, who seems to be slowly losing his grip on reality, has he got himself into something over his head? Volume Two: Tale of the Village Protector A once strong and powerful cultivator and teacher retires. All he desires is peace with his wife, and to give her a child for them to raise. They reside in a small village where he's elected as the village protector. Everything is going well in their lives, until a mysterious oracle shows up to their village with a cryptic warning that the Kami, the gods of the world, are up to no good. Silas wakes up, his town destroyed, and his power gone. The apprentice he was coerced to have and his wife, also gone. He has to uncover a plot by a rogue kami while discovering why he is powerless while he tries to find out what happened to his wife. Volume Three: Tale of a Beggar A cultivator but also a homeless beggar is sent to a western continent to help his master find a key that can help his Master's old friend. Once in the west he finds resistance to learning about different gods, but finds the god the westerners worship isn't so different from the Kami. They all look the same in the pictures they've painted. Everything changes when the town he's been staying is overrun by barbarians. They aren't cultivators, not really, they have an animalistic spirit and are very powerful in their own right. He's taken in as by the horde and while there he learns of an ancient relic that the lords of Demon have. The thing is, he's not the only one who knows about it. He has competition, a sect from the East is coming and is ready to make dark deals to get the treasure.
