Curiosity had killed the cat, well, not literally. Amelia was still alive, well, for now. Her crossbow was aimed at something, she couldnt make out what it was. It was moving rather fast. She couldn't get a real good shot at whatever it was. She heard something else, it was bigger and sounded to be equal to her size. Were there more creatures here? Great, she didn't really want to fight right now. She pressed her lips together and decided to yell out. "Hey, anyone else back here?" Her voice echoed through out the area. She could feel it bounce of the walls and hit her back in the proverbially face. Another small creature ran by her, this time she got a glimpse of it in the dim light. It looked like a plant of some sort and it was running on two legs? Or was that the plants roots? Had all the plants in this gardening area mutated into something? Great, that is exactly what she needed in her life right now. Mutant..Fucking..Plants.. These newly mutated plants only looked to be about 3 feet tall, maybe four feet at the most. So, she had to defend herself against plants that looked like they should be inside a retro video game. One of the plants looked at her and then spit acid out of its mouth. Amelia jumped back, the acid almost hit her and she shook her head from side-to-side. "Dont fucking think so!" She aimed her crossbow at it, pulled the trigger and the arrow flew through the plants mouth and the plant fell to the ground. It didnt disappear it just laid there, she walked over to the plant and retrieved her arrow. It was covered in green blood.
Amelia laughed. "Finally something that bleeds."
Damian was having his own trouble with the newly formed plant mutants. Yeah, that is what he was going to call them. He heard something near the way back of the gardening section. It was more near the section that lead outside. It sounded like an arrow going through something. Had someone took down these plant mutants? If so, he should go find them. They could do something about these creatures together. More people, strength in numbers and that meant that they all might get out of here alive and be able to tell the tale. He didnt know who this new person was or even if it was a person. He wanted to find out though, he fired a few warning shots into the roof. He watched some of the plant mutants scatter for cover. It looked like they werent ready to die yet. He walked around the acid holes in the ground and he walked around very cautiously. Every time he heard a sound he pointed his sawed off shot gun in that direction. He wondered where the plant mutants went, they were probably hiding. Once they knew he would be alone, that is when they would probably attack him.

Snort was still trying to figure out a way out of this situation and he was sure there had to be ammo on the outside. There was no way to get it, if he could shoot his way out from the inside. He would be able to get out and grab the ammo that had been dropped off and it wasnt like he was going to just rush back into this swarm. Hed fight them from the outside. That would be a great idea, if he could get outside and that didnt look like it was happening. He stared at the shadow swarm man. That creature hasnt started talking yet. He wondered if it would ever start talking. It was just staring at them, like it was studying them. What was there to study? Snort had his gun pointed at the shadow creature. He wasnt going to let his guard down. Hes done that a few times before and he always got his ass kicked afterwards. He looked over at Akito. This kid is going to be scared after this was all over and done with. Snort looked over at Akito and smiled. "Were gonna get out of this okay." teeth right now, because he didnt know if they were really going to get out of this okay. He just didn't want the kid to worry about it. They were face-to-face with a powerful enemy and all they had were guns. There ammo was going to run out soon and he didn't know if these things could be attacked in any other way.
The Shadow Man's eyes glowed red. "All we want is your energy, to live, just like you." The Shadow Mans voice was dual-toned, it sounded very evil and demonic.
Akito blinked his eyes and looked at The Shadow Man. "Oh? Is that all?" Of all the times he was sarcastic, this wasnt really the time to be sarcastic. He expected some sort of backlash immediately, nothing happened. The Shadow Man just continued to watch both of Snort and Akito. The rest of the shadow people began to fly into The Shadow Man. After a few moments the rest of the shadow people were gone and all that was left was The Shadow Man and he was ten feet tall and both Akito and Snort looked up at him. This was great, just great. A ten foot paranormal being inside of a Wal-Mart. Akito looked over at Snort. "Look on the bright side we out of the swarm."
Snort nodded. "Right, that is the only upside right now." Now they needed to find a way to put this thing down. It said that it absorbed energy and electricity was a form of energy, right? Could they just aim something with like light energy at him and just overload him. A power surge might put him down. Also, it might not. It could make him super strong and then they have no way to beat him and they would have to leave the store. He knew this was Akitos home and he didnt want Akito to have to leave his home. He was at a loss for words and ideas right now.
