A quick recap on Mahi's awakening in the story
Mahi awakened his ability naturally unlike Ruhi where she first got to know her affinity aura element , then familierze with it using the help of others, and then able to use her ability. Inturn Mahi when facing danger first awakened and used his aura element even without knowing it, and then getting familiar with it.
This was the olden method used first. Once the testers came their method had lower risk. So everyone used the second method. Although both methods are similar but still deviate in the order of things done.

Mahi getting kidnapped by the elf, and was beaten spread like fire from mouth to mouth inside the palace. This was Chanakya's doing.
He even spread the rumours of Mahi being a cripple taking advantage of the stable aura state around his body.
Only they knew Mahi was already capable of using his ability even though he was just five. For the rest of world he would seem like a cripple for the time being.
Maurya approved Chanakya's plan instantly, " I can use your plan to send Mahi away to train near the borders. I cannot keep Mahi's ability hidden forever but for some time it is possible."
" Your King but that elf queen wouldn't remain quiet although she don't know what Mahi has awakened she knows he will be a threat to her". G2 spoke with her female voice. Now she had completely regained her respect for her king.
" That ant , now she has told all her fellow ants that there is a anteater here. " Maurya said while holding a letter in his hand , which the elf messenger had delivered him.
The content of the letter was
' You are invited to discuss the future matters for the actions pertaining to the fortune our fellow elf has spoken about your son. And your words of war against us should also be taken into consideration. We wish your presence in the meeting . All the kings and queens will be present.
The elf alliance.

The last sentence was more like a threat sugar coated to hear nice when read. Maurya understood the meaning behind .
You better attend the meeting or you'll face the anger of all others .
But in the head of Maurya a different thought was running
' I can squash one ant , but this ant group is a problem. Well anyway I better attend since it will the last time I will see them all together' a grin appeared on his face as he was planning on not leaving any one of these people alive in the war as he would tell Mahi to kill them all.

Inside a room
Mahi was sleeping with Ruhi beside him. She was worried about him when she heard what had happened. She didn't attend any class that day to stay beside Mahi.
In the afternoon Mahi woke up still having a severe headache. His mental health was still affected with his awakening. His physical wounds were all healed up.
He saw Ruhi beside him half asleep drooling on his hand. Ruhi woke up, as she sensed a movement.
Mahi quickly hugged her crying in her arms as he recovered all his memories till the elf told Ruhi was killed.
" I thought you were dead Ruhi. I will kill you , if you get killed by anyone" he said crying on her shoulders.
Hearing this Ruhi mind thought how can Mahi kill me if I am already killed. Then putting that thought away
" It's okay the elf has been killed by papa" Ruhi kept patting his shoulders.
Hearing the death of elf he recovered all his memories till he killed the elf.
The headche became so severe Mahi started shouting, holding Ruhi tighter.
Mahi's body was reacting to him killing another living being. His mind was blaming him for killing. It was not something a child of Mahi's age to take the pressure of it.
Ruhi quickly pushed him away and went outside to get help.
During this time Mahi's second aura element ability kicked in. Chains started to form on his heart again.
( A note to the readers
Mahi can use Maurya's ability to materlize chains outside .
But the chains inside are spiritual chains not real but the another aura element taking the shape of chains. It is Mahi's own awakening ability.
What type , it's function come on I don't want to tell all at once.)
As the spiritual chains started to grow on his heart , the headache gradually decreased going to null.
Ruhi had called Amogha and Maurya to come see Mahi quickly. When they came they saw a boy sitting completely still and his face as calm as a sea.
The healer of the palace took over the healing checking for any hidden injuries. And everyone felt glad that Mahi was fine.
Maurya was pleased even more seeing how Mahi had the mentality to accept that he had killed someone.
According to Maurya
A warrior mindset is to kill the enemy , when the enemy attacks him.
But a conqueror must have the mentality to go kill others to obtain what he wants. Maurya had this kind of mentality and he intended to develop the same for Mahi. He had made lot of plans to achieve this.

A week passed by, Mahi was still in his room recuperating.
Maurya had started to visit him more often speaking , laughing just like a father. Maurya had started to like Mahi more after he really awakened his ability and seeing his mentality. But Mahi didn't talk much in this week. He just had a blank expression on his face.
Maurya thought his mental health although has accepted the killing, it still must be quite affected after seeing blood of that elf. So he didn't disturb him too much.
Amogha too was visiting more often like Maurya seeing Mahi. She always brought gifts to him. This development made Mahi curious but still felt a little happy as they were talking to him.

Inside the royal hall
Amogha had come to visit Maurya to discuss about Mahi's cripple like condition. These days she went to Mahi's room to confirm this. Then after, she went to his room as a goodbye process of sending him off.
She was really happy waiting to see what would happen to Mahi.
" Maurya you should kill that child , he is useless. Didn't you tell me you would kill him if he doesn't awaken. I told you it was useless and see now he turned out to be a cripple . You should listen to me more. "
Amogha was smiling showing all her teeth as her wish to get rid of Mahi would be fulfilled.
Maurya was puzzled, " Amogha I know you would not like him since he is not your own son, but the hate towards him is not reasonable"
Amogha's s smile reduced " Are you out of your mind asking me why I hate him. You already want to go war where you already lost, just because you found that damn kid. Why shouldn't I hate him. Tell me don't you already have a big Kingdom. Why are trying to build a castle in the air by trying to force yourself to become a ruler of others? I am fed up with your ambition Maurya" she put everything out she had suppressed for these few years.
Maurya raised his voice even more than Amogha." Don't you know my ambition already.
I want to look down , yes I want to go to the very top and look down from there, on whom even I don't know. I'll find out becoming the ruler of this world"
" That stupid delusion of yours ,don't tell me the throne is getting to your head even more than the last time?" Amogha spoke pointing her finger towards the throne.
There was a brief silence between those two as they kept starring eyes of others neither backing down.
Maurya and Amogha both of them married each other very early. They had a good relationship for quite a while. Everything is good untill all things around go in your way. This was what happened, Maurya kept conquering one kingdom after another each year. Amogha was quite happy. But when things started to go wrong with Maurya, getting suppressed back, ending with his own kingdom. Amogha would definitely change hating the desire of Maurya. So she never stayed in the palace only to go roaming around places.
This is why both were standing at opposite sides to each other in their beliefs.
" Amogha I'm sending Mahi to the borders to train. He can still learn combat techniques there. Don't even think of harming him"
Maurya after witnessing Amogha's change in behaviour towards him in recent years stopped being honest with her in matters related to him.
Hearing this Amogha returned back preparing to go somewhere roaming as she knew the kid's life would not die next few years as Maurya had told her he would send him to borders.

Mahi and Ruhi were again playing together. Ruhi classes had been closed with her teacher as she had learnt all the basics. The rest she was going to learn in the academy.
While Mahi had returned to his usual self with Ruhi and his chains surrounding his heart had vanished and he had forgotten about the elf incident with that.
" Ruhi you are going to academy next month what is that place?" Mahi asked smiling
Ruhi became proud seeing how Mahi looked at her admiring
" There will be all students like me coming to learn more about their abilities. Teachers will be present there, and I will make a lot of friends there."
Hearing this, " I will also join the academy Ruhi" Mahi said demanding.
Ruhi was sad seeing Mahi having dreams to join academy. She heard Mahi was a cripple and the academy only accepted the ability users. She didn't want to tell Mahi this.
" Don't worry you should still grow up, I'll be still in the academy when you become ten years old.
Till then if you have problems tell your big sister about it. She is very strong" Ruhi said keeping her hands on Mahi's hands, telling him her hands were bigger than his.
Getting used to this silly habit of her " Ruhi show me your ice " Mahi wanted to see Ruhi's ability.
Ruhi never showed him her ability.She had learnt a lot ahead of her peers in terms of using abilities with the help of her teacher.
Ruhi concentrated for a minute or two having a vein pop out on head and finally a small white thing started to appear above her hand.
Mahi touched that and felt a cold sensation in his hand. He was mesmerized by her ability.
" I also want a ability like you Ruhi"
She then ran out of her aura in her body. The ice disappeared .
Ruhi was so tried she wanted to sleep . This is why she never played with Mahi during classes. She didn't really have the strength to even open her eyes.
" Mahi I have to go rest now. We will play tomorrow" .
After a while Mahi was resting under the same tree 🌲 like usual.
He quickly placed his hand near his head. After a while a small chain came out which seemed to stare him.
" Which ability do you think I'll awaken .I want to go to the academy too, don't you?" Mahi asked the chains as if he was talking to it.
The small chain nodded as if it wished the same. After sensing a guard near the corner of the corridor the chains disappeared.
" You are so weak and shy always hiding from everyone . You are like a bug, bug, buggy. Haha I'll call you buggy from now on" Mahi kept mocking it while laughing showing all his teeth which were still growing for a five year old boy.
Then he quickly slept with the warm breeze hitting his face.
