After reading the plaque, Yun Lei shifted his focus to the book in the statue's hand. A single sentence was carved onto the marble in such a crude fashion that it was impossible to think it was the work of the same person who had done the rest. This sentence was written in the lost language as well, but the words used were common and easy to understand. Thus, he had no problem translating it.
"Who are you?"
Why is such a sentence carved into a statue? That was the first thought that appeared on Yun Lei's mind. It could very well have been something symbolic, but the way it was written and the grammatical structure implied a question being actively asked to the reader. Even the 'you' used in this sentence was a pronoun in the lost language that was used specifically for a person standing in front of one's self.
