Meanwhile, Zelda and Tristian were trying hard to figure out whom to pick on, unlike Lucius's class, Zel and Tristi's mates were quite approachable. They were making queries about where they were from, what they have been doing, and so on.
''Are you guys going to stay in the dorm?'' Nicole a girl from the Philippines who seemed quite amiable and considerate from the very beginning asked.
''Well currently yes,'' Zelda answered.
''Do you by any chance know your room number?'' Nicole asked.
''Yes, dorm number 12,'' Zelda's words bought an awkward silence in the class.
''Are you sure?'' a guy next to her asked.
''Why? is that a problem?'' asked hot-headed Tristian.
''Nope! It's just that your roommate is going to be a bit cold and unfriendly'' Nicole scratched the back of her head.
Zelda frowned, seeing her reaction other girls spoke, ''Don't scare her! she is just a newbie,''
This made Zelda's curiosity high and Tristian frown deeper.
Before Zelda could ask any more question some students barged into the class shouting, ''The college fest starts next week! The poster and info are put up, come on check it out!''
The whole class rushed outside as if they were selling food for free making Zelda and Tristian baffled. A chit-chat was going on between the freshman regarding the upcoming fest.
''Hey! which suit do you think makes me bonny, the red one? or the purple one?''.
''Either way, you look stupid, you Mr tattletale. So just go with whatever you want''. Nichole chaffed. Everyone started chuckling and Tristian too joined the laughter.
As the noise outside the classroom was getting louder, Zelda noticed that apart from her there was another guy who was curled in the corner of the classroom who looked very gloomy, his head was hung low, it was as if the person was in his own world and didn't even care to close the book which was taught in the last class.
Zelda felt an invisible pull towards him, in the very next moment she was able to connect to his mind.
''Hey,'' Zelda unconsciously whispered to the gloomy guy's mind through her telepathic ability.
The guy suddenly lifted his head and looked at the front as he didn't see anybody he hung his head down once again.
''Am at the right,'' Zelda once again used her telepathic ability.
This time the guy turned towards her, he had red hair and black eyes. Zelda had never seen someone's eyes as lonely as his, they seemed to be lost.
Zelda didn't know why but she smiled at him but he just looked down making her frown.
***************
''You are Inviting trouble,'' Levi spoke as he held Lucius's collar.
''But I think that's the opposite, my friend,'' Lucius replied with a devilish smirk.
Levi was about to punch him when they heard the professor's thunderous voice, ''LEVI! ROSE! to my office now! How dare you bully him right under my nose huh!''
Levi and Rose were surprised this was the first time they were caught troubling someone.
''Sir, it's just,
''No excuses! To my office, now!'' The professor didn't give them a second to explain themselves.
Rose glared at Lucius and Levi gritted his teeth before they followed the professor.
Lucius just shook his head, how was he going to trap them if they are already so hostile?
Lucius just sighed and left for his class.
The final bell rang and the students started leaving. Lucius joined Tristian and Zelda while returning to their dorm.
''How was your day?'' Zelda asked Lucius.
''Interesting,'' Lucius chuckled.
''Why though?'' Tristian asked.
''The soul I found is already hostile to me, I don't think we will be able to make it soon,'' Lucius replied.
''What's her name?'' Zelda asked.
''Rose, full of thorns,'' Lucius playfully spoke.
''Ahhh! If my powers would have increased by at least three per cent I would have burned this whole building and taken away the souls,'' Tristian frustratedly spoke.
''We don't want humans suspecting us now do you?'' Zelda spoke making Tristian stomp his foot.
''Later, kiddos, this is my dorm,'' saying this Zelda waved to her friends.
Lucius and Tristian left, Zelda knocked on the door even after a few minutes there was no response.
She knocked once again but still, nobody opened the door, finally losing her patience Zeldaa started slamming her hands on the door.
With a sudden bam, the door opened and a bucket full of iced water fell on her.
It just awakened BELLADONNA, the dark side of Zelda. And it was at this moment she realised that her journey is going to be way too long and dense.
