Jane was really curious to know about what happened next but then Edric patted her head and said, "That is for next time, wife. For now, I have to tell you something important."
Though she was a little disappointed about it, Jane refocused her attention to what he was about to tell her now.
"As I've mentioned earlier, Irgul had created a huge follower back when he was still awake. I have managed to keep them at bay. After all, they thought that there's no serious threat yet because you still had not come to the picture for many years."
Edric heaved a deep sigh before he continued, "However, now, it's different."
"How different?"
"News of our marriage had circulated among his and my followers. Those who followed me might understand my reason but Irgul's...I believe they would come at you at some point. Your life's going to be in danger when that happens."
