The news of Malark getting lost in the mountain of suffering reached the king's ears. Ryker's heart trembled on hearing news that his son was in danger. He got up of his throne and took raced steps to the door and stopped.
Ryker averted his gaze from where the messenger stood, he faced Reznor and Ryn with a piercing glare.
"If I find out that the two of you are responsible for this in any way. You will rue this day for eternity," he spoke out in authority.
Reznor and Ryn stood before him with their heads bowed and their hands clenched into a fist. The injustice of being accused without evidence was frustrating.
They despite not having anything to do with what happened, they were being suspected and it wasn't fair.
