A letter arrives at the camp from the palace demanding the general's return to the palace. Malark ordered the Ellows and night whisps to follow them as they left camp in case they run into trouble. The creatures flew above them to watch over their master.
Malark, Hope,, Alek, Landon and Prada flew together to head to the palace. The prince was yet to say a single word from the time they left the wall. Hope didn't pester him to talk either.
