The cart arrived at the camp where they were supposed to meet the general. The ride was as comfortable as it could be for prisoners. The soldiers removed Alek, Landon and Prada out of the cage that they were locked.
The people around, soldiers of different genders and species. Snakes, weretigers... all had their attention on the prisoners. Rumors had reached camp long before they arrived and the beasts were curious on them, how they were able to walk through the wall and not get eaten and torn apart by the Ellows.
Landon, Alek and Prada we're moved to the prisons with other prisoners that had been captured before. The soldiers were instructed to keep them separate from the others, while the superior went to inform the general of the arrival.
They sat quietly in the cold floor of the prison not saying a word. Landon closed his eyes to get some rest, Alek watched him keenly. He didn't know whether to be sad that they left their home behind or happy.
