Landon's p.o.v
I opened my eyes to the most beautiful view of the stars above me in the sky. The sight was mesmerizing but not enough to make the pain in my lower region go away.
"Aaargh," I groaned as I tried to get up from the ground. My body hurt all over and the cold of the night was giving my skin chills.
'Wait, bear skin?'
I took a closer look at myself only to realise that I was without clothes. What more was the marks on my body.
"What in the name of..." I let out in a raised voice but froze. Something moved and closed my lips to stop talking.
"I have a headache. Don't shout?" the person said. My heart thundered at the familiarity of that voice. It was a voice that I had gotten so used to hearing that it was impossible for me not to know it.
