As Shino returned back to the place god sent him he said to himself, "According to God I was summoned to the Shogusha Kingdom to help them, it's probably the case of killing the demon king, I'm already on my way to kill it so I'll refuse, I should hide my Identity too... oh… looks like my body is materializing so get ready"
The bright light slowly fade and Shino materializes in front of everyone and so the King said, "Oh mighty one lend us…."
"I refuse!" Shino said out loud
Shino look around him and saw the shocked faces of everyone
"Yosh! Nailed it! I'm sorry Shogusha Kingdom, I know that you want to kill the demon king so badly but I don't want to waste my adventure by skipping places and killing him right away" Shino said to himself
Shino start to walk toward the exit and as he move his feet the soldiers point their spear and raised their shield blocking the exit, Sorcerers chant their magic and Archers draw their bows
With their action Shino just sighed and said to himself, "Of course they are not going to let me go, what to do now…."
"M-m-m-mighty one… would you at least hear me out? My kingdom greatly needs your help" the King said
Shino faced the king and said, "Why?"
The king was confused along with the sister and pope, then Shino said. "Why would I help your kingdom? I was forcefully summon to this place without my acknowledgement and you point your weapons on me as if I have no choice but to obey your orders, why should I help this kingdom?"
"Why…. you asked why? This is your greatest opportunity to became a hero of this nation, be praised by everyone, and you refuse because we gave you a bad first impression, unless you don't know we raise our weapon because you disgrace the king when you didn't let him finish his words" The head pope said
"Pope Nathaniel is right mighty one, what you just did is an act of aggression so my people instinctively raise their weapon but forget that, this your opportunity to be acknowledge onwards to the future, of course you will be paid handsomely since it is such a dangerous request, I will also grant one of your wish" the king added
"Praise, Title, Money, those doesn't matter to me, you granting my wish? I already have my wish granted, beside I already know your request, you want me to defeat the demon king and his army right? I just don't want your precious king to waste his words" Shino said
"Y- Well you are not wrong… If you already know then isn't it more reason to save us?" The King said
"I have my own reason, and saving your kingdom is right at the bottom of my list, beside killing the demon king is no easy task, so if you should excuse me I will take my leave" Shino said as he bow
"But many people will die, are you seriously abandoning us? You know once this kingdom fall the humanity will be destroyed" The king argued
Shino kept quiet and said to himself, "Looks like there is more to this than I expected. Is the Demon King already trying to breach through this place? Is the demon king finally taking its move?"
Shino thinks hardly as the others watch him walk around the room in silence, after a while Shino came to a conclusion and said to himself, "Nah! There were no records that the demon king moved his army inside the territory and the fact that he resurrect every couple of hundred years mean he has a normal life span, he just can re-spawn, beside the previous attacks where done by Demons with titles, a bunch of demons that are independent from the demon king, or so Sarah told me, so the king is just over reacting"
Shino just shove the Shogusha problem off and said, "Yeah, I'm out of here, see you later king"
"Stop right there, I didn't said you could leave" The queen said
Shino stop and slowly turn around with nervousness, saying to himself, "W-w-what an aura… is she the queen? Women aura's when they are pissed just gave a different vibe even in the other world huh…"
"This country is ruled by me, Tatiana Morceles, the queen of the Shogusha Kingdom, unless you don't know Queen has the highest authority on this country, disgracing my husband in front of me, you sure have no respect, I have heard of you personally from the king of Megiddo and he has many praises to say about you, he seems to both fear you and respect you but to inform you, you are on my kingdom now, This Kingdom has been fighting the demon kings army for centuries don't think you can out done my soldiers by your sheer magical prowess" Queen Tatiana added
"I apologize my ignorance Queen Tatiana, but… I don't fear your words" Shino said
The Queen became interested and said, "Oh? You know I can turn you into a fugitive when I said so, As long as you are in my land you will always be on the run"
Shino put his hand on his hip and said, "So are you implying that I have no choice but to obey you?"
The Queen stood up, crossed her hand, and said, "It's a good thing you understand, Work with us or be hunted for the rest of your life, your choice o' mighty one"
Shino just laugh and said, "Well then... I humbly decline your offer"
"Soldiers, kill that fugitive!" The Queen shouted
The soldiers approached Shino as the queen command, while Shino said, "Original Magic: ˹Icy Flames˼"
A blast of Blue flame surround Shino, and every part that the flame touch immediately froze, in-casing the soldiers in ice
"Domain Magic: ˹Sovereignty˼" The Queen said
The Ice that covered the soldiers disintegrated in instant, freeing them as they continue to march forward
The queen smiled at Shino and said, "Don't think you're the only one who mastered short incantation"
Shino just stood still and said, "you are worthy of your throne, Queen Tatiana, but…"
Shino tried to recast ˹Icy flames˼ silently but only saw his flames ignite and disperse right away
"But what mighty one?" Queen Tatiana said with a smile
Shino stood still looking at the queen and said to himself. "˹Sovereignty˼, it seems to be interrupting the creation process of my magic, It not nullifier level since I can still cast magic that doesn't leave my body, 'you can't defeat my soldiers by sheer magical prowess' huh, She confident but isn't looking down on me either since she cast her strongest magic right away, domain magic huh, if she has this much power why not use it to solve their problem, either way I can exit here with my ˹Lightning Movement˼"
Shino started to tap his foot and said, "This is ruled by someone great and strong already and I do wonder, Why not use it solve your problem? Queen Tatiana, no matter the answer is I'm still going to refuse, until we meet again"
Lightning start to come out Shino's body and in the blink of an eye Shino is gone and nowhere to be seen
"Tsk! He noticed the flaw on my Magic, Soldiers find him, He has not gone far, Find him!"
Although shocked by what just happen the soldier chased after Shino, one person was left behind looking stunned with his bow drawn and ready to fire and pointed on the exit, it was Aistel
As Queen Tatiana sat back down and saw Aistel still standing still she then asked, "Aistel, Is there something wrong?"
Aistel was spooked accidentally letting his arrow fly on which hit the wall, and immediately replied, "Ah-oh-eh… No, it nothing my queen, It's just that I was shocked on what I saw"
"What is it you exactly saw Aistel?" The queen asked
"The person we summoned, although to everyone else He just vanished in the blink of an eye, I saw him walk" Aistel replied
"Walk? You saw his movement? You elves do have special set of eyes huh" the queen said
"As he say his goodbye to you my queen, He started to walked all the way outside, judging by how the skill was activated I believe he used ˹Lightning movement˼" Aistel added
"Eh? Isn't that skill a dangerous one? I guess he has no choice but to use it since he is surrounded, King Herald said that he is not bound by any chains and no one can chain him down, I took the challenge and failed. Ahh~ what now? Our nation is in trouble, we can't summoned another person for a while, and things got heated earlier so we didn't even manage to get info about the person we summoned. Aistel~ with your elven knowledge tell me, how do we get out of this stalemate?" Queen Tatiana said
"My queen I think I have an Idea on how we can get the person we summoned to help us, will you trust me on my idea?" Aistel requested
"OH?! Aistel~ do you seriously have an idea on how to do it?" Queen Tatiana asked in excitement
"Yes, I think there is some sort of misunderstanding earlier, so if we manage to clear that misunderstanding, he might help us" Aistel replied
"Eh? Well it did get heated very quickly earlier. Very well… we don't have any choice after all, please Aistel do your best to find and convince him" Queen Tatiana ordered
Aistel thank the queen and leave the church, as he left the church he said to himself, "I didn't mention it but the reason I was stunned earlier was not because of the sheer speed he has but the fact that I saw the look on his face as he remove his masked, his face says that he needs to be somewhere and fast, did we do something we should have not done? Please great goddess Fauna-sama, help me find him immediately"
