Aistel kneeled to the ground and started to sniff around
On the other hand Shino went back to his casual clothing and leisurely roaming around the town and decided to grab a bite before writing a letter that soon to be put inside his storage
As Shino approach a barbeque stand he saw Aistel on a distance sniffing the ground and said to himself, "Eh? A dog? What a weird person…"
As Shino try to buy some barbeque Aistel slowly crawled towards him and said in his face, "Ahh!! I found you!"
Shino who were holding a barbeque stick where shocked and confused as Aistel suddenly scream at his face, not knowing what is going on, Shino suddenly throw the stick away on which Aistel followed and catch it mid-air
Aistel realized what he's doing and eat the meat, thrown the stick to the ground, and shout, "What am I to you a dog?!"
Shino just look at Aistel weirdly and said one word, "Yes"
Aistel grab Shino by the collar and said to his face, "You… you're coming with me"
Shino thrown another stick of barbeque on which Aistel followed again and catch
Aistel eat the meat, throw the stick and said, "Stop throwing your food, many people can't afford this kind of food"
Shino just stared at Aistel and clap, saying, "Nice catch!"
Aistel grab his collar and said, "Don't treat me like a dog, anyway summoned one, I think there is a big misunderstanding earlier…"
Shino shove Aistel away and took 3 sticks of barbeque and said, "My name is not summoned one, its Shino… also… Yeet!"
"Eh? Yeet?" Aistel asked
Shino throws the 3 stick of meat again and Aistel tried to catch it, one in each hand and the other one in his mouth
Aistel look back to the barbeque shop angrily and saw Shino running away
"Ah! OI!" Aistel said in shocked
Aistel finished the barbeque as fast as he can and tried to follow Shino who were running away but was stop by the grip of the barbeque shop owner
"Aistel… your friend hasn't paid yet" The barbeque shop owner said with a terrifying smile
Aistel slowly loosen the owners hand and paid the five barbeque he ate and immediately chased Shino
Aistel is Chasing Shino but can't catch up to him and decided to fire an arrow coated with some paralysis and shot Shino with it, although it hit Shino in the back, Shino just pulled the arrow out and kept running
"Eh?! Oi! That's coated with paralysis, how come you're not affected by it?" Aistel said
"Poison or something a like doesn't work to me, I know some healing magic after all" Shino replied
"Fine then how about this" Aistel said
Aistel drawn his bow without an arrow, positioned himself, and started chanting, "Cast from heaven, kept roaring without end, follow my target to the end, ˹Electro Arrow˼"
An arrow like lightning formed and was shot from Aistel's bow, approaching Shino from behind but Shino suddenly turned around and catch his arrow with his bare hands
Shino tried to throw the arrow back Aistel but since he was was not looking in front of him Shino didn't notice the fountain in front of him and trip inside with the lightning arrow in hand
Shino shocked himself beyond recovery while Aistel on the other hand slap his head and said, "Ahh~ this is bad, He electrocuted himself, is he fine? He is not dead right? Nah that kind of electrocution is deadly even for me"
As Aistel slowly approached the fountain to see if Shino is still alive, Shino suddenly get up from the fountain on which shocked Aistel and made him screamed his lungs out and fainted
Looking at the fainted Aistel Shino said, "Oh? He fainted, anyways, better start looking for ways to get back…"
As Shino was about to leave he looked at Aistel again and remembered that what he said about the misunderstanding and sighed, "Well, I guess I should hear him out"
As time passes Aistel wake up looking at the sky and lying on the bench, Aistel then remember that he is chasing Shino and immediately get up saying, "No way! I need to get moving or he will be harder to find"
Shino heard Aistel and pulled his lollipop out of the mouth and said, "No worries I'm still here"
Shino is sitting beside the bench Aistel resting in and was waiting for him to wake up
Aistel then asked, "wh-why did you wait for me?"
Shino look at Aistel and replied, "If you rest any longer I'm going to leave, beside you said there were a misunderstanding right? Tell me what it is and I'll act based on it"
Aistel spare no moment and said, "Yes! Please come with me and I'll show you
Aistel brought Shino towards the Cliff walls and explained the situation they are in, and upon reaching at the top of the wall Shino witness a dead-man zone where killed goblins and soldiers are resting and people are still fighting
"And so we aren't really requesting you to kill the Demon king himself but just this demon general" Aistel added
"Is that so? So your country is spending your resources so fast that you are almost running out, how long have you fighting this demon general again?" Shino asked
"7 months, we were fighting him for 7 months, many already lost their lives both adventurers and soldiers please Shino-san, help us end this stalemate" Aistel begged
Shino brought out a pair of binoculars out of his inventory and just look over the dead-man zone and saw the demon general at the far side sitting on its thrown and then said, "So all we need is to take down that big guy huh… That's a straight shot from here to there, why not just fire directly at him?"
"That's one weird telescope you have their Shino-san, but there is no way we can reach him with any weapon or magic, although the cannon's work it is pretty hard to hit him, it's just impossible" Aistel replied
"How far do you think he is?" Shino asked
"It's a wild guess but at least he is 1 kilometres away from us, bows nor any magic won't reach him, if the artillery focus on firing directly at their camp we will lose defences and breach through the already tired soldiers, so we are stuck on defence" Aistel replied
"I see… then let see if I can reach him" Shino said as he get up from the edge of the wall
"Shino-san that's dangerous, like I said it's futile to use magic, it won't reach" Aistel said as he hold Shino's feet to prevent him from falling
A blaze of bright flame burst out from Shino's back and then travelled towards the front to the point of his fingers
"Gather, Condense, and Compress, Aistel hold my feet like that and don't look directly at the light" Shino said
"Shino-san! What the heck are you doing?! Everyone take cover, this clearly a grand magic" Aistel shouted
As the others duck down, Shino's hand start to burn along with his sleeve and said, "Just a little bit more…"
"Grand Magic: ˹Focus Fire˼ Modification Complete, ˹Rail gun˼, full power… Unleash"
Shino released his full powered rail gun and shook everything in its path, and with such a great power the recoil Shino receive was enough to throw him back ward towards the street along with Aistel who were holding on to him
Disintegrating everything in its path, Shino shot was powerful enough to create a massive explosion but sadly he missed the target and shot it upward to the sky
The soldiers who went in hiding came out and look at the devastation Shino made the mountains where the magic travel where carve out and the place Shino and Aistel standing was crushed
Lying on the street with his face burnt Shino said, "Crap! I missed"
Aistel who were sent flying with him get up and said, "That is way too powerful! You could have eliminated the soldiers who were fighting on the field if you didn't miss"
Shino just laugh it off as Aistel stood up and said, "Anyway give me a hand here, I'm beat up"
Aistel just sighed and said, "You really are a handful Shino-san, here give me your hand"
Shino tried to reach Aistel but weirdly he can't reach him and with a closer inspection Shino hands were burnt to ash all the way to the elbow
"Ah! Look like I'll need a hand, literally" Shino said before passing out
Aistel Freak out and shouted, "AAAAHHH!!!! SHINOOO-SANNN!!"
