After a long journey of about three and half hours we reached the village. Xia Chun was communicating with the village people asking the way to the hotel. Actually it was the only hotel in the village.
We reached after inquiring about it from local people after fifteen minutes of walk . We booked two rooms for both of us . I went to room and arranged everything . When it was about time for my first class , I texted Jun Jo about my class and asked him to go online after reaching the class where I had to teach.
I asked Principal to let someone stay in the class for maintenance.
I went online and waited for Jun Jo to come online. After three minutes of the class starts Jun Jo came online and video called me. I received and thanked him.
Jun Jo: " Teacher Maria is it clear ?"
Me ( Maria) : " Yes Jun Jo . Is my voice and picture clear?"
Jun Jo: " Yes teacher. It is clear."
Me (Maria): " Is anyone there from the administrative department as an assistant teacher?"
Jun Jo: " Yes teacher."
Me (Maria) : " Okay Jun Jo you can go back to class . I guess u r late for it. Don't worry you don't have to worry about answering anyone. Noone will ask you about it. Now be quick and go back."
Jun Jo : " Yes teacher."
After the class was done Jun Jo was there within two minutes and I thanked him once again and reported him about my next class which was after each break i. e. fifth and last period. He cut the call after saying , " I will remember that teacher."
After the class I had two hours for my search for Miss Chao Chao. I closed my laptop, took my phone and left for Xia Chun's room. I went to his room and found the hotel honour lady.
I felt kind of suspicion towards him but they continued to talk about the village . Then I felt kind of relief as they didn't stop their conversation even after I enter the room which means he is not to be suspected.
I also joined their conversation and she told us a lot about the village.
Me (Maria) : " Aunty do you know anyone who went to Shanghai for work."
Lady : " Ofcourse child. Nowadays noone wants to stay in village and goes to town for earning money or studying. But whom are you talking about? Maybe I can help if you give me that person's photo or name or anything related to the person."
Listening to her words I took out my phone and showed her Miss Chao Chao's picture.
Me (Maria): " Aunty do you know her?"
Initially she had a worried look in her eyes. So it was clear that the lady knows her but immediately changed her expression and told she doesn't know but after sometime she asked me about her.
Lady : " Child who are you and why did you come in search of that girl?"
Me ( Maria): " Aunty don't worry we came from the school she was working when she was in Shanghai. We are here to take her back to school to continue her job."
Lady : " Girl I don't know what happened to her when she was in Shanghai but she came back home eyes full of tears. She never talked to me about it. Just she came back and told she will never go back. I will never force her to do something she doesn't want to but you can see her as I have a good feeling towards you. You must be a good girl . You didn't hesitate to say the truth. Before you so many came from different place but I told everyone that she isn't home so that my poor child will not be disturbed. I will take you to her after lunch."
Me( Maria) :" Aunty I have to attend two more classes. So can you please take me after to her after I finish taking classes."
Lady ( with a sweet smile) : " Ofcourse child. You attend your classes first. I will see you after class."
Me ( Maria): " Thank you aunty."
Xia Chun was silent while I was talking to the lady about Miss Chao Chao. I don't know why but I felt a bit awkward about it. But I shooed my thoughts and went to my room for my next class.
All the feeling I am going through is very new to me. I never talked to any stranger for such long. It is almost two hours I talked to lady and Xia Chun. Then I realised necessity teaches everything . I smiled at my own realisation and entered my room.
I went online on email and Jun Jo was online almost before one minute. He called me and we checked the video and audio like the previous class. After it was done I told him that I found Miss Chao Chao and will meet her after the classes.
He was so excited that he almost shouted . It's not only him but also the students of the classroom he was in. He had a broad smile his on lips and told , " Teacher when you meet her please tell her that we all miss her and also trust her not the media so she can come back freely."
Me: " Okay Jun Jo now go back to your class and I will shurely say her when I meet her."
After adjusting the video Jun Jo left the classroom and went to his classroom for attending his lessons. I also continued taking the class.
After I finished taking the class Jun Jo arrived and asked , " Teacher you didn't meet her yet then how can you be shure that it's our teacher Miss Chao Chao only?"
I replied him saying , " Did you ever hear that a mother did mistake in recognising her own daughter?"
His excitement reached its peak and told, " Miss are you serious? Did you really meet teacher Chao Chao's mother? "
I smiled at his childish behavior and told ," Yes dear. Now go back to class as your next class already must have started and their might be some other teacher waiting outside the door of the classroom you have occupied for taking his lessons. Now cut the call I will take food so that I can go immediately to her after my next class."
Jun Jo: " Okay teacher. Bye. I will be on time for next class."
Me ( With a smile) : " I am shure you will."
Then I cut the call as I knew he would continue his questions if I don't cut the call now.
