I entered the campus where Miss Chao Chao teaches. She was as preety as an angel. She looked like a pure goddesses descendent from haven with her white traditional Chinese dress.
I kept staring at her until I reached near the space where she was teaching . She was teaching them English. She was really good at it and her vocal tone of speaking was magical. She looked as us as we reached near the space.
Aunty went to her and spoke something to her in her ears and pointed towards me. She had a smark in her face but soon it vanished which didn't go unnoticed by me . I kinda started to have a feeling that whatever Principal had warned me might turn out to be truth. Honestly I also wanted to somewhere deep down in my heart. As I could nerver let her enter Mr. Wang's life again. I couldn't afford to do that. But I also wanted her back in school for Jun Jo. But if it's true then I will never let her be close to Jun Jo ever in my life. He was like my small brother now more than a student of mine.
After aunt told her about my arrival, she came back to me and told , " She asked us to wait for five minutes so that she can give them homework and let them go for today."
I told aunt , " Ohh ...it's okay we can wait."
After aunt told me I looked at her subconsciously and she smiled at me . I nodded and returned my smile to her. Then she looked at the kids in front of her . She gave them some homework and called it off for the day. As normal students they were also happy to go back home early. They left within five minutes .
After the kids left for their respective homes , Miss Chao Chao walked towards us while we were sitting at her varendra waiting for her. She looked elegant unlike other country girl and there was a sense of mistry in her eyes. I burshed it off thinking that I was overthinking about her. She seemed like a perfect goddess. But I knew that when things seemed to be too perfect then their is certainly something unusual in it as nothing is perfect. I controlled my curiosity and decided to believe what I saw and heard with my own eyes and let things go with the flow.
" Hello Miss Chao Chao. I am Maria Maskin."
" Hello, I guess I don't need to introduce myself as you already know me." , She told me.
" Oh yes. Their is no need of that. I know your identity but I would like to know you in personal level too . If you don't mind then." , I told her.
" Oh is that so? Then I guess we will have to have a long conversation for it." , She told me.
" Oh ...shure . Anyway I would be for some days I guess. And I would like if you can came with me back to Shanghai." , her face showed some mixed expression which I couldn't figure out if it was because of surprise or shock or terrified by hearing the name Shanghai. But I am shure she wasn't expecting me to be too direct.
" Oh....I guess you will have to return disappointed if that is what you came here for." , She told me with an unpleasant smile fixed on her lips yet she was radiating sme cold aura around her which gave me chill.
I chuckled listening to her answer and subconsciously I turned towards Xia Chun and was surprised to see his reaction. He was looking at Miss Chao Chao in a shocked expression as if he wasn't expecting this from her and was waiting to signal her something when she faces him. But I am not shure about it so I choosed t o pretend as if I didn't notice it and turned back to face Miss Chao Chao. Surprisingly she was giving him a hard look which showed she was disappointed with his carelessness.
Even if I understand that something was off the track and Xia Chun being choosed was much more than a coincidence. I knew I was in danger as everything around me was just a play that everyone was playing. I was clear about one thing that I can get to the bottom of this only if I pretend to be dumb and keep my eyes wide open.
" Oh...I guess you will as I am not leaving without you.", I told her.
She chuckled and told , " I like your confidence little sister but I will never go to that haunted place where only beast live under the mask of a human."
I smiled and held her hands with mine before telling her , " It is haunted only for the one who doesn't know that one has to switch on the light by themselves to get away from the darkness which seems haunted to us."
" You seems elder than your age due to your talks." , She told me.
" Ohh ....am I being to philosophical?" , I asked her feeling awkward due to her comment.
Looking at my reaction she smiled and told ,. " I guess we can get along well. "
After completing her sentence she headed towards the balcony where their were a small traditional Chinese tea table along with some small wooden stools to sit. The view of her house is best from her belcony.
She offered me to sit on the balcony and went in to bring a cup of traditional Chinese tea for both of us.
" This is a traditional Chinese tea which found only in this place. We cultivate it here and they also give me the first one they pack every year. It is really a refreshing liquid to drink. What do you think? How is it? Do you like it?" , She asked me in a excited tone.
It was clear that she was kind of proud about everything she told. It indead is something to be proud of but I really don't like people who showes off. But she was okay as she wasn't going overboard.
" Oh....is that so? I totally agree with you and it is indeed good one." , I told her.
