After I came to my appartment , I started breathing heavily by leaning on the door . The images of recent things were playing repeatedly on my mind. I closed my eyes and touched my lips and realised that I was smiling and I felt wet on my cheeks. I touched my cheeks and realised that tears were rolling down my eyes. I washed my face and went to bed. Tears were still rolling down my eyes for today's incidents and when I fell asleep I didn't know.
I forgot to close the curtain last night and woke up due to sunrays falling on my eyes and realised that I didnt put alarm .
I told myself, " Thank god that I didnt pull the current yesterday or else I would miss the school."
I wanted to stretch my body as everyday when I felt something is stopping me to do so. I turned around to see and was shocked to see him holding me and sleeping. I the beginning I am imagining but later I realised it wasn't a dream. He was looking too enchanting that I forgot about all his betrayal and wanted to touch him , kiss him and hold him. But his face had marks of tears which reminded me of incidents and I held myself back. He was freezing so I took the blanket and out on him after placing a kiss on his forehead.
He was having a very sound sleep maybe he was tired of yesterday's incident and fell asleep late. He wasn't aware when I woke up, took bath and left for school after having my food. When I was on the way to school I was busy thinking about last night and wondered after all those why did I still prepare breakfast for him. I was too deep into my thoughts that I didn't realise when I reached school . I came back to reality when I was stopped by a group of students.
Being stopped by students I looked up as the student was a bit taller then me. He was staring at me and realised that everyone was staring at me when I looked around. I was wondering, 'what was wrong ? Why am I surrounded by students? Did something happen ? Or they are waiting for someone else ? It's batter to confirm by asking them.
I asked the students who blocked my way , "What's wrong? Why are you blocking my way? Or are you waiting for someone else and I am on your way?"
They laughed in a mocking way and told me,
" We thought you will be different and not create any trouble like all other previous teachers who worked in your post. Yes indeed you are different because you caused trouble way more sooner then any other."
I was shocked listening to their words. I wondered if Mrs. Zhang told everyone that I loved director's son(Mr. Wang). I told myself that how could I be so careless and patted my head.
"I have seen the picture that you are getting into teacher Lu's car." , the student who lead other students told me.
A part of me was relieved by listing to his words as what they are thinking is not true and according to me something that isn't true could be proved.
"Can I see the picture?", I asked the student.
He immediately took his phone out of his pocket and showed me the pictures.
First picture was snapped when I entered teacher Lu's car and time was mentioned in the lower right side of the picture. The next picture was when we were driving and looking at each other. It was some kind of picture that anyone who saw would think negatively as we were facing each other and talking. And the last picture was when I got off the car.
Suddenly out of nowhere I heard a voice , "What's going on here? Why are you gathering here? Don't you think it's almost time for assembly and you should head towards the ground." I turned around to see who was it. I was surprised to see it's Mrs. Zheng. I conveyed my thanks to her and she patted on my shoulder telling," It's ok. I will support you and back you up as long as you think of teacher Lu as a college and help me pursue him."
I smiled at her and told , " Shure .....Why not ?? As long as you don't bother me and help me make my job a bit easy."
She told, " Ohh that's okay for me. I can help you with it." We both laughed looking at each other.
She took me along with her and we walked towards the staff room. She introduced me to her group personally and they welcomed me warmly. I was really happy at that moment But my happiness didn't last long.
Soon one of the management staff came and asked me to meet the principal. I knew what if was for and frowned for a second and then replied him that ," Okay I will be on my way. You go first." I looked at teacher Zheng pleading for suggestions for talking to principal. She looked at me and told, " Sorry dear , I can't help with principal . I can handle only upto teachers."I told them , " Okay then seems like I need to do it by myself. It's ok I will be honest and straight forward. I will take care of the result later." Then they wished me luck and I headed towards Principle's office.
I entered the office and saw him reading a document. His face was filled with anger and regret.
I told , " Good morning sir...Did you want to have a talk with me?"
He told , " Yes, I do."
I replied him, " Then please go ahead."
He told me, " I hired a foreign teacher for this post by thinking that they wouldn't get involved in personal feelings for Chinese. But seems like I was wrong you are way more fast than any other who worked on your post previously."
I told him, "It's your falt that I had to go out with him."
Principal was shocked and asked me, "What do you mean ? Explain."
I told, " Each students were avoiding my lacture even if they are in class. So I wanted to know the reason of there attitude. Later I found about Mrs. Chao Chao. I asked teacher Lu on staff room about it but he told that we should not discuss it here . So I had to go with him because I wanted to know about it. After he told me the whole story he dropped me in front of the school and left. " I also added , "It's impossible for me to fall for anyone at school including teacher Lu. So you don't have to worry about things related to my relationship especially my relationship with teacher Lu as we are just collogue nothing more or less."
Principal told me, " I hope your words are true and keep it in your mind. You can get going now and please don't stir up troubles for yourself and school too."
I left the room and took a Deep breath.
