Wrapping my soft white towel around me I got out of my bathroom. Humming random songs, I went to my closest and picked some black pants and a grey sweatshirt. Changing into them I stood in front of my big, full-length mirror.
Looking at the mirror I smiled to myself. I looked good, I am 5'7, with dark brown hair, and light brown eyes. My little nose suited my face cut, my pink lips stretched into a smile showing off my dimples.
Opening the window of my room, I smile at the weather. The beautiful weather in New York made me stay here for almost two months now. Knowing it was my last day here made me a little disappointed but still satisfied.
Going down into my kitchen I made a cup of coffee and breakfast for myself. As I sat at the dining table, eating my breakfast I turned on some soft music.
'Perfect' I muttered to myself, enjoying my breakfast.
My phone buzzed showing a text from Conner.
'He is on his way.' The text said
I smiled looking at it sliding my phone aside and finishing my meal.
After some time, I went to my room again taking out a small box lying in my cupboard. I opened the box taking out a needle from it and placing the box in its place again. I put the needle in my hair which was now tied up in a ponytail.
My phone buzzed again, 'He has reached.' The text said. At the same moment, the doorbell rang making me smile. Taking a last look at myself in the mirror I made my way downstairs.
'Showtime' I thought with a smirk.
As soon as I opened the door, my smirk turned into a grin.
"Hello Paul Wright" I greeted him.
There stood a man who was in his early thirties. Black hair and blue eyes. He is bulkier and height of around 6ft.
"Hello, Rea Grey. May I come in?" He said with a smirk playing on his lips.
I opened the door wider for him and locked it when he got inside.
"Please make yourself comfortable Paul," I said as he sat on the sofa making himself comfortable and I sat in front of him on a single chair.
"Finally, caught you," Paul said looking straight into my eyes with a smile playing on his lips.
"Well, congratulations Paul. You have succeeded in your 10 years-long cases." I said taunting him for not catching me early.
"Ah, right. 10 years, I have spent my 10 years finding and following you. It was hard you did a good job, Rea. For a detective like me, it took 10 years to catch you, you did an amazing job running." He said with a hint of impressed look on his face.
"Thank you, Paul. Wine?" I asked
"Wine? Rea? You think I am here to have a Wine with you. I will take you with me now and hand you over to Zac. That's it that's where my job ends." He said laughing.
"Yes Paul, but don't you want to know how I get going on? And how a normal girl could hide from the gang leader? How I, a simple girl kept hiding and running for the past 10 years from people like Zac?" I asked him with a smirk knowing that he will give in.
"Well, now that you mentioned. I will like to know everything about your life." He said with curiosity in his eyes and voice.
"Wine would be fine." He continued making my smirk grow into a grin.
Grabbing a red wine bottle and two Goblet glasses. Placing them on the table between us, I took a seat. I could feel Paul's eyes on me as I poured us drinks.
Sliding him his glass I took a sip of red liquid in the glass. Red, my favorite color.
"You know there is no one except me that knows your past. I have been trying to follow and catch you. But still, I feel I don't know many things." He said taking a sip of his wine.
"You see Paul, you think you know me. Maybe you do but I would like to tell you something. You only know 10% of my life. Maybe even less I guess." I said with a smile which he returned to me.
"Please do enlighten me, Ms. Rea Grey." I sighed to myself knowing that he, don't even know my real name. Well, no one knows my real name except a few people.
"Okay Paul, let's start from start right," I said to which he only nodded.
"Well, first of all, I will start with my introduction. Myself, Andrea Miller." I said with a knowing smile and Paul coughed hearing my real name.
"What?!" his reaction made me chuckle lightly.
