"It's much more comfy than I thought." I said as I laid my head on Sarah's lap, the maid that I was bringing along in for the journey to the dragon Lands. the seats in the carriage was very wide and comforting, thanks to Cadia we made quite a lot of money making foam for seats, of course she got the idea after she bisected a couch at home, the same materials were used to make these seats, well rather than a seat, you could say it was a comphy couch, not only that, the space to move around wasn't that bad either.
"Master, this Carriage was specially made after you made a new special chassis.. I even heard that it has something called a Shock absorber. Just how do you make these things?" Seri said from sitting beside Sarah.
"Oh yeah, I made them myself." Since it was too intricate work and hardly anyone can do it, I made it by directly making it with Miasma. It felt like I 3D printed it. System is really awesome.

"For a carriage made by humans, this is really comfortable." Selen who said so was sitting in a corner at the farthest from me. Selena was there with her too.
These two have become meek after that punishment, I don't regret punishing them, since they had pretty bad behaviour before that.
"I made this interior out of mountain cow leather and I even made a small air conditioner so that even if the outside is piping hot, we can easily stay and have cool air inside. It has a 24 hour barrier on it from miasma coating and the alloy wheels have a rubber tire which is very light compared to normal wheels. The carriage itself is made out of Treant material, which is harder than Steel and has natural magic resistance from its base material properties. Also, the space inside has been increased dramatically by using void magic to make a subspace. So even if this space is bigger from the actual space, the passenger weight and everything else's weight has no effect on the actual weight of the carriage, that is why the horses are practically carrying empty carriages.`` After my explanation, everyone looked like it all went over their head…
"Sorry, since making this thing was a lot of work, I sort of boasted about it….." I smiled wryly… even though I can't make a car, making a vehicle always gets a man's heart pumping.
"So master, is this subspace like a small training ground?" Sarah asked.
"Not really… the training ground has no relation to the real world… but this is more like…. A small pocket that you can use at any time." I wonder if my explanation worked.
"I see… it really is a valuable Item…."
"Yeah sure is… I sold 2 of them already. Since making them was a lot of work, I only made 2 after getting forced into it. One for Lilith and the other for king Claude… Lilith actually still didn't pay me! But king Claude gave me a large land…. "Master… the Land you speak of….. It Is not so little you know? I heard a few days ago that there was a new merchant city in Stein, that must be yours…." Seri, who tends to hear gossip, said so.
"I see… since it's Cadia, it is normal…." she was someone who could nearly see the future… so I am not going to think too much about it.

"Ha ha, that's too much. Ruling over people isn't child play, I can only do this intricate work because I am free. What do you think an emperor's life would be like?" I asked Mila

"Is it really alright to talk about national secrets around us…?" Selena who looked like she couldn't believe we were talking this openly…
"You two are idiots. by the time you go and report the issues, you would have already given out the wrong information. Not to mention, false information is even more damaging than no information."
"I see…. You actually may be right…" These 2 have really mellowed out… spanking is a great punishment… I might use it again in the future.
"Master, why are you so strict with them?" Sarah asked since the 2 dragons were obviously afraid and depressed… she was such a kind girl, to even pity the ones that wanted to harm her and her peers.
"It is obvious, life is precious, and these 2 wanted several of the maids to waste their whole life serving them as nothing but a desert making machine…. What would they have thought if I had asked for 2 dragons so that I can fly around from city to city or country to country? Not only that, if I were to say that those dragons will serve me until my line of family exists in this world? only because I was strong and was able to overpower them in fighting? Does my strength really matter that much that They would leave everything else in the world to do my and my family's bidding for the rest of their lives?"
"Th-that will be terrible…." Selen, who heard my reasoning, looked like the reality of the situation just hit her…. The things that they demanded and the time I even asked them to take back what they said, if I really wanted to screw them over I could even do it now. But my resentment has subsided.
There is no reason to enact cruelty. Although I wouldn't have thought about that had they really harmed my maids, but they did not which meant they had enough brains to actually not harm the weak.
Not even waiting another moment, both of them bowed to the floor flat.
"We ask for forgiveness… I can't believe we who pride ourselves as strong and intellectual have asked for something so outrageous…" well you can't blame them, humans can view a bugs lifespan as nothing after all, the can be said for Dragons, they live for hundreds of years, but because of that, you can't just ask for the impossible.
"Please forgive us." Selena and Selen were graveling on the ground, their arrogance was gone… I was surprised but this was the best outcome, I don't want someone hating me in dragon territory… it will be too much pain if something happens in the future…
"Lift your head, I have already given you punishment, so I have no right to ask for more from you two, still if you two really realized your actions then become a good friend of mine. I don't need any enemies from the prideful dragons…. I believe that pride is a good thing too, it can make you honest… but it only suits dragons.."
"After all that we said you still want us to be friends?" Selena asked, astonished..
"Anyone can make a wrong judgement, so it isn't a big deal. Besides, if you were not prideful, you would have attacked in a way that disregarded the maids which would probably have killed some of them… but you didn't. That shows that both of you have enough pride to not harm the weak."
"Thank you…. In my life, I will never think of you as an enemy again, I vow this on my sister's heavenly name." Selena said so with a dignified bow. It must be the dragon's way of an oath…
"I thank you too, please think of me as your Eternal friend, I vow this on my sisters heavenly name." Selen said so too, the same way…
"An oath eh… now that is something I would certainly expect from a dragon… So what do I swear about…."
"Eh? You want to do an oath too?" Selena asked, surprised…
"Why not? I like embracing new cultures.. Hmm… I vow… that I will always see you Selena and Selen as friends and never return you if you ever asked for my help. Is that enough?" I asked, looking at the dragons..
"Well, you still need to vow on something? Like we did on each other's names." Selen said.
"Then I vow in the name of Amanori." As I said so, everyone froze..
"Wh-what are you even doing? Does anyone vow on that blade's name!?"
"Oh no worries? She is quite easy going, she will probably laugh it off, not to mention vowing like that sounds really cool!" That's right, it sounded cool.
[well, if we do go against them, it will be me killing them, that shouldn't be too bad.]
"Master all your intricate planning and inventions aside… you are also someone stupid with Irregular tendencies..." Every one nodded at Mila's comment. I was used to hearing that by now though?
Like that our first day of traveling fixed my relationship with the dragons… they might be prideful but they were certainly reasonable…

"Master, we found a good spot to camp out tonight. So we are stopping now." Mila, who was driving the carriage, stopped near a clearing. It was all grasslands… and little forests here and there.
"Well, the horses need to rest too, and we already have everything. We can sleep in the Carriage, we have enough food in storage, Master even made a portable stove, and water can be supplied with sis Sarah's magic….. I feel like this is too convenient…." Seri, who was checking out what we needed, looked at me with a wry smile…
"Come on, this much should be necessary you know?" I mean if we are traveling for a month straight, then I won't take a half ass preparation.
"Alright then master, I will start to get prepared." Sarah started to prepare our food for the night, Seri and Mila got busy helping her too….
"Shouldn't we clear out the area of any monsters, or wild animals?" Selena asked.
"That won't be a problem, with Amanori here, no monsters should blindly attack us." I said.
"Ooh? Is that why there were no monster attacks while we moved by the carriage?"
"Yeah, I picked up this technique while I was stranded on the edge of the world, this didn't affect every type of monster out there but I got a good breathing time out of it."
"So should we really not make our camp?" Selena asked. She and Selen had their own camping gear with them. Even if they could fly, they couldn't do it in one go, so they had to camp out when they came. That was just how far the dragons were from human lands.
The dragon land itself was huge and they came from the heart of that place, and it was probably because of my high quality carriage that we could even think of traveling in a month.
Talking about living conditions, my Carriage being as good as a RV, it was clear that we could easily stay inside. Even with me and my maids, we only added to a small number of 4 people, adding the dragons would make 6, the RV can give accommodation to 10 people easily.
Like in the modern trains we can turn the whole seating section into beds and pull out from the carriage walls to make separate partitions.
"You only said 6 people! What about me?!" Ridge, who was on my head pulling my hair, said hearing my explanation..
"Ridge, when you always stay in that small form, it doesn't need to be counted, besides you always tend to get on me when you sleep, so even in your normal form it would be the same."
she had a despondency to climb up on me while I slept, I heard from Leila that she even does it while she's unconscious….. So every morning I wake up seeing Ridge on me like a pet cat. This had started to happen quite recently too, thus I was still wondering why that was the case.
"Th-that…. Is true…. Still count me with the others too!" sure I would do that, so I hope she doesn't pull my hair like the horse's reins….
As our first day of traveling ended, we started to get prepared for our dinner as we chatted and looked around our camping ground. Looking at the display made me remember the time when I also started to make my camp while the sun was setting back at the Edge of the world. I had followed such a routine for who knows how many years. No matter the Edge of the world.. After this long.. I don't think I regretted being there… thanks to that I had acquired power. Every hardship gives you enough in return.
