While Eli and Helen continued the dinner with their parents, on the other side of the city in a prestigious gated community, Jennifer was dreading dinner time with her own family. She hadn't calmed down from her father trying to marry her off to the highest bidder. He was stuck thinking this was the past where he could just marry off his daughter without any objections. Jennifer was not a product to be sold.
She had picked many items out of her closet to be sold for money and had reached a generous amount given all of her items were brand name and without a scratch. Jennifer walked back and forth wondering what she could do with the money she had so far. The first thing on her list would be to own a place for herself to get out of her parent's home. It didn't need to be big and extravagant like she was used to.
