"While the women settle their issue, why were you asking about siren Eli?" Cole questioned tuning out of whatever disagreement the women were having. Why did Eli ask him about sirens out of the blue? Sirens weren't something anyone would just bring up in a conversation. "Have you heard of anyone catching on recently? They are valuable on our black market."
"There's a bunch of them in the lake," Eli casually replied like he didn't have a gold mine of creatures on his property. He was more interested in frying than selling them if they kept messing with him.
Cole's eyes widened at the fact there were sirens in the lake here. "Why are they in a lake and not out at sea? How did they even end up in a lake? This is really dangerous for you to have sirens and Helen here. What if they try to drown her?"
