We had a good time then and left together . She was driving a Tesla , that too my favorite design Model S !
I did not quite know if there were any more trending cars in the industry because I got busy with all the problems . "So Kate , Benjamin said that his parents were divorced . Did you marry him by any chance when you two used to date ?"
She shook her head . Kate and I were sitting at the back seat while Warner drove with Jaden alongside him . "We never got to the topic of marriage but my guess is that he had to make up that excuse . He wouldn't possibly tell him that he had forced me to make him come to the world ! He would feel lonely and even hate Fredrick . I just hope that my boy is okay right now ..."
She still looked a bit scary to me because of all the makeup she had put on her face but I knew more about her now . "I'm really sorry for the way I look . I don't like it but I have to dress this way to avoid glares from people . You see , I'm the manager of this company , Larkes . If people saw how simple I liked to dress , they would be suspicious because my company is fully based on doing hard makeup . I don't know why people support these kind of ideas but I'm kind of successful around this and some other places .
She didn't take us to the Hotel but to the airport . "Don't think that this is over you two , I'm coming with you too ." She said with a laugh when we were going to say our last farewells to her . We laughed alongside her , enjoying the sweet mood I felt around her now , when something hit me .
We were waiting in a long line to show our tickets , when I asked her , "Are you actually a human ?" It was an absurd thing to ask but I had to because as far as I knew , I could only see lives of supernatural creatures when I held them . She know about the Happons but how did she find them ? I had no idea . It was then that I was starting to burn with questions a second time that day .
"You see Rene , my life was not only filled with the drama between Fredrick and Nate but other things too . I'll tell you everything on the way . We DO have time to talk in the plane , don't you think? " I followed her when it was our turn to show our tickets. I didn't know how , but apparently , she had foreseen our arrival and arranged for our passports to be transported , or more accurately , teleported to her from our home .
When she ran away from Fredrick and their child , she had accidently stumbled upon a Happon who needed immediate help . He was on the verge of dying so since she was kind of free now , she went to help him . He was one of the guy she dated and even though he bought back the terrible mistakes she did to Nate , she learned to adjust and they became good friends .
They were friends for quite sometime and he lost his patience and told her that he was a supernatural creature . She supported him instead of telling everyone and endangering him . The name of her good friend was Warner . Maybe she didn't want Warner to know how she had already had two children , one by force . But the good connection they had within them helped her in tracking Benjamin and Margaret . She had had her eyes on the both of them from the very start of her stability in life . She herself did not know what she was . It was clear that she wasn't human because then I wouldn't have been able to see her life . She also seemed to be able to control what all I could see from her life unlike the rest of the ones I have checked . Margaret was a Happon , she wasn't human and we were also not sure if Nate was human too .
The flight felt too short because of all the talk that went on between us . I had to see Jasper , Benjamin , as well as Margaret after reaching back .
We reached and even though thee flight wasn't very long , all of us were exhausted. It was selfish of us to not introduce Ben and Marge to their own mother when we reached back home . We couldn't possibly blame every act of ours on exhaustion !
Nathaniel , Marge , and Ben were waiting for us but all we could say was , "Guys , please lead Kat here to the guest room with Beth . She may need someone near her anyway . " They all had big circles around their eyes as if they had been waiting for us without sleeping when I had clearly informed them about my departure but we were too tired to ask them , and they may not even be able to answer us even if we HAD asked .
The next morning , everyone was much more refreshed and I felt my stomach gurgling . I hadn't eaten anything except the food they gave on the flight at all when the other had had their own fill . Warner had actually went to a feast that happened in a local restaurant when we reached Texas , Jaden , or dad as I would call him now since our mission was temporarily over , had had his bag of blood that had been bought my me during our visit in Texas whilst I had nothing other than the bread and butter served by the flight attendant to the middle class passengers , AKA , us , who payed the least for the flight .
Kate didn't have enough money in her pockets right then , which was mainly why we had to resort to paying as little as possible . After all of this , I had the appetite of an Elephant and I love it so much . I ran to the kitchen to make something fast but alas ! Fate decided to play it's trick on me again and sent me an empty fridge and shelfs . They had nothing except dishes in the shelfs .
This was a rather plain problem but my hunger took over my emotions right then and I slammed my fist on the black kitchen slab before shouting , "WHO IN THIIS DAMN HOUSE FINISHED ALL THE GROCERIED WHEN I REMEMBER FILLING EVERYTHING UP JUST TWO DAS AGO !"
I expected anything to happen , either they would come here , OR I would go there but I didn't expect to break all the glass in the house . The glass windows , glasses, and even the mirror was heard breaking when I shouted . Did I actually cause this because I was frustrated ? Was I actually that powerful ?
