The sound of a constant beep was heard ringing, yet for some reason, the sound of a deep snore was overpowering it. The snore and alarm continued for a while. Until a loud bang from below was heard.
"Simon, would you get up already! That alarm is really starting to get on my nerves!" His mother shouted.
Although he didn't wake up to the alarm, he did wake up to the bangs. Slowly lifting up his heavy eyelids, his field of vision slightly foggy. It took him a while to get up, and recently he had been waking up earlier than usual because he had many things on his mind.
'I guess all those late nights are catching up on me. I don't think a morning kick of caffeine is even going to help with this one.' Looking around the room, Simon was about to close his eyes to go back to sleep again when he noticed something on the floor of his bed.
