Antonette fidgeted her thumbs while waiting for Reign to arrive. She felt so impatient and worried. She didn't know Reign was detained for a long time. If she didn't have an emergency, which caused her to come home, she wouldn't know.
Antonette jolted up after she saw Reign being accompanied by the two other policemen. Her eyes were as dead as ever. Her expressionless face got worse. Seemed like, she was emptier than usual.
"Reign," Antonette softly called her name but, Reign just gave her an indifferent look.
"What are you doing here?" Reign coldly asked when she sat across her.
There was a transparent boundary separating them with only a small circle on the center. The circle was the way to clearly hear what was one saying to the other side.
"I should be the one asking you that. What were you doing here?!" Antonette was exasperated. Seeing your daughter stuck in this disgusting prison, what would you feel?
"What else would it be? I'm a criminal."
