I punished the monsters who thought there was no hope for the people and that they were the kings of the land for their sins.
"Granny, are you okay? What happened?" I asked the old lady in a soft, comforting tone.
As the old lady heard those words from my mouth, she broke into tears. She was in so much pain that she cried like a child.
"They killed my boy and sold his wife. They burned half of the village, they're still out there raping our daughters!" the tears of the lady were filled with sorrow and suffering.
"It'll be okay! We'll find your daughter-in-law and I will bring her back to you, I can't say I'll get your son back but I'll do my best to give him a peaceful sendoff" I tried to console the woman even though I knew doing it will not lessen the pain of the woman.
"Ser John! Get some more knights with you and drop the woman to her home and I want all those bastards dead. I want their heads on a spike! You're dismissed now!!" I ordered the knight captain who accompanied me since I left the palace.
"We must hurry before it gets late. Mount your horses' boys." Killian spoke in a worried tone...
"Hmm, but why are we— huh, what's this? A bag! Seems like it's of one of the bandits" As I moved I stepped on a bag that belonged to the bandits who died just moments ago.
I picked the bag and looked inside it,
"What's this pink liquid! Huh, what's written on it "El-ix-ir", Elixir! It's an elixir, right the one which can bring anyone back who's on the brink of death, what was it doing with a bandi—"
"Oii Kai, come fast! Or you'll be left behind."
I took the item and kept it inside my pocket and mounted my horse in haste, wait a minute I'm coming."
After traveling for around fifteen minutes I, Sabir, and Killian arrived in an open ground with a hut in the middle and a grave next to it, there were screeching noises coming from all directions, after hearing those sounds the only expression that was on Killian's face was fear, he unmounted his horse in a rush and ran toward the grave like crazy.
I figured out that the loud screeching sound coming from the sky...
The screeching sound in the area stopped out of sudden and utter silence devoured the whole atmosphere, the stress on Killian's face grew more serious as the screeching sound stopped, he slowly drew his sword out and stood in front of the grave in order to protect it. And when it felt so calm, a white dragon came out tearing the clouds.
Killian faced his sword in front of his face to brace himself from the dragon, but as the dragon was about to clash with Killian a "Red Dragon" tackled and drove him again into the sky and roasted him with his dragon fire. In the meantime, Me and Sabir rushed our way to Killian.
"Killian! What are you doing? Do you think you can beat them? They'll roast the hell out of you!" Sabir yelled at Killian
"I'm sorry for my action I thought the white dragon has gone Berserk" Killian sighed and took a whiff of relief.
"But the red dragon was here. I guess they're just fighting out of habit!"
"Look at them how beautiful and terrifying they look, they don't care for any king or queens they're majestic in their own way."
I and Sabir looked up in the sky to see the dragons fighting each other beautifully as they were performing some kind of dance.
"What do you mean by "they're fighting out of habit?" I asked Killian while looking at the two dragons with curiosity.
"Consider yourself lucky, that you saw them once in your life, just looking at the red and white heightens your luck. I don't know what happens when you see them fighting!" Killian stood there with his arms on his waist, watching the dragons fight as a kid watching the starry night.
"Your question! It can't be answered so lightly. It's a long story Kai! a long story, about the "Two heavenly Dragons who can even bring down gods." Killian explained to me with a smile on his face.
