Aldrick wanted to revoke his actions and return from wherever he was and what he was witnessing, anyhow. He was not able to hold anything in anymore; and even if his limits did not lie there, he did not want to be confronted with the cruel reality of the Fate which had already been designed, much earlier than their birth.
