Brandon smiles, not in the way that's intimidating, but because he's ready to take Mizuki on in a fight. Preparing himself for the fight, he steps up to the rock platform and he's taller than her again, but still no match for the dominant energy she exerts when she's preparing for a right.
"What are the clauses we're going to follow for the fight?" he asks, spinning the polearm in his arms to prepare his hand work before even thinking of attacking.
Brandon is rustier than Mizuki because of the significantly less practice he's been getting, but he needs to make sure he performs well.
"First to get knocked down loses, and—do we both know how to swim?" Mizuki asks, and then Brandon's face darkens, reminding her of the one instance she went off into the ocean and brought him along, after which she had to save him from drowning in the water.
