By the time Mizuki raises her gaze to the grey-blue overcast sky, she finds herself being pulled along the path as Hinata rushes her along to shelter. She speeds up into a jog, shaking out of Hinata's grip and instead, over-taking him.
Taking it as competition, Hinata smirks and taps Mizuki on the shoulder, racing her down the dirt path.
Overhead, thunder rumbles and a flash of lightning strikes through the grey-blue patchwork sky. Soon enough, a single drop plummets from a cloud, splattering against the ground.
Mizuki whips her head towards it and when she turns her head back to face the front, Hinata is a short distance ahead of her, and rain starts to trickle heavily around her.
Slowly, Mizuki's head grows heavier and colder, clothes sticking to her skin as the newly-fallen water drenches it.
