"Autumn's coming soon," he reminds her, lightly brushing the leaf off her dress, avoiding contact anywhere she might feel uncomfortable. Mizuki unbuttons her coat to hang it against the back-rest of the couch.
Mizuki notices how it's noticeably warmer in the room, a little more homey than it was outside. The windows clatter loudly from the harsh winds, leaves planting themselves against the glass before carrying itself away.
She curls on the couch, tilting her head in Hinata's direction. Hinata looks back at her and she almost notices how his cheeks are dusted vaguely with a tinge of peachiness. It should be tense with the way they're the only two in the room, nothing heard but the cacophony of an approaching season. They stay this way for a comfortable amount of time, somehow satisfied in each other's company.
