Mizuki brandishes her daggers, their blades glinting in the light from the raging fires and Valkyrie's magic vanishes completely. Her jaw falls agape. For an obvious few seconds, her limbs fall to her sides and the ominous aura shrouding her fades as a creeping sense of shock overtakes her rationality.
Hinata looks up, his skin warm yet not hot enough to char. Mizuki stands over him, eyes still fixated on the enemy ahead and in this moment, though he doesn't realise it, his heart misses a beat.
"Please don't hurt yourself to protect me," Mizuki looks down once, unbeknownst to the fact that Hinata had been staring with widened eyes.
For his safety, Mizuki lightly pushes him to a side and lunges forward, the fires solidifying into weapons in her palm.
Valkyrie audibly shrieks at the sight of this, the sheer force of the winds from her massive wings enough to send any weak body tumbling.
