Chereads / The BloodHound: Von's Shades / Chapter 22 - The Aspects Of Desire And Insanity

Chapter 22 - The Aspects Of Desire And Insanity

"-Why... Why did you do this to my father?- Nina's spoken words came out as a scream. "

Von woke up sweating. The sight of the dark room was almost like a relief, a paradise he felt he needed. In the past few days his mind had seemed clouded, immersed in memories he didn't want to remember. Sohan, Lucy and Coel. Many people had passed through his life, that was true. But these three names and Nina's voice in his head was like a sign. A warning that Von was going to go crazy.

The boundary of the reality he lived in with his past was defined by one person. And Von was frustrated to realize this. Sophie was not only the limit, but also the thread that united and interconnected his past. Hate mixed with desire was almost torture, Von hated to desire her. When he humbled himself to her, desperately begging her to give him warmth, he clearly saw his anger. Von would not depend on anyone. He would not attach himself to anyone.

He was just a boy going against himself, wishing to hate desire. Hating to wish to hate. When he looked at himself, seeing the reflection of his own self in the mirror, he felt disgusted by his existence. For being weak, for being tamed, for enjoying being tamed, for not resisting. Von had fallen into comfort, and he himself knew that being comfortable, simply the disquiet of his past could set him free.

A hospital room had been exchanged for the simple room in the Chasseur family mansion. Blair was in trouble to an extent unknown to herself: life or death. Lying on a bed in a prelude, she had no idea how Von and Sophie had struggled to get her out of the maze. Without a doubt, the biological walls hid something beyond Cerminian, perhaps even human, comprehension.

Von was facing Norgard Chasseur. He found it somewhat difficult to talk to him, since he had already entered into the sights of the green eyes. However, he felt totally smothered, and also like a dog with its tail between its paws.

- Report. - The general said in a casual tone, folding his arms on the table and interlacing his fingers .

- We left Blair with Diana Hoziv and when we returned the house was on fire. Blair was in the maze without consciousness . - Von said at once.

- I understand.- Norgard stood up and stood with his back to him.

-General, I apologize. - Von looked down and waited for words that were not monosyllabic.

- There's nothing to apologize for. - He continued looking at the books. -It doesn't matter anymore. It's in the past. - He seemed to choose his words. - There will always be those who disagree with you..- he turned away. -There will always be those who will ruin you. People against the leaders of the state exist everywhere. And that's the part of a mistake. A breach, a gap. It is more than necessary for a simple revolt or a uniform victory. -

- Why was Diana Hoziv against the Invasion of Dendalion? - Von raised his head a while later.

- Diana. - The general raised his head, looking at the chandelier. A lock of his brown hair fell across his face, and Von noticed an oversight. - She was always quite cunning, just like that young woman that day. Actually, when I look at Lizandra, I see a younger Diana there. - He smiled. Von held his breath with that smile. - Some people want to change the world, Von.Some people sacrifice themselves to do this. Some try to persuade influential people. The latter was her case. When Sophie returned after training with her, my daughter was more rebellious. More bloodthirsty. More... cunning. I think this is a big game Diana played with Soph, and I have no idea how her mind could be disturbed because of it. Diana saw several flaws in the High Command, at her mandate several soldiers refused various things. She clearly saw an opportunity to weaken me by killing Blair and Sophie. Too bad she failed, Sophie's cunning grew stronger over time because of her. -

- Attack you? But weren't you... friends?-

- We were lovers, even. - The general finally turned to Von. - I'll tell you two divergent lines of the same thought, I hope you'll consider this advice for life.-

-Whatever you say, General. - Von agreed half-heartedly.

- It's about the change people undergo. - The last word was almost ironic. - Either someone undergoes something very radical, and is completely changed by it. Or they go into hiding. I don't know if you understand what I mean, these are complicated lines. Understand: A person doesn't change. He hides his demons. He molds himself to the need he faces. Maybe in this mold, he gets lost. He changes, but he doesn't change. His true self only remains in a state of dormancy.

- I understand. I'll keep your words. - Von felt as if something was blossoming within him. His conception of Norgard Chasseur was much like a roller coaster. One moment, Von almost hated him for everything he did with Sophie. At another, Norgard created a sphere of superiority around himself, and Von could only admire him, like a son admiring his father.

-Diana fit into this. I met her in a state of dormancy. Or maybe her numbness was forged. That I don't know. Only if she's just one of thousands who will try to stop the invasion.

- What do you think about this? Are you for it or against it? - Von hissed.

- Isn't it obvious that I'm for it? -

- I don't know.- he smiled. - Maybe you're forging it too. -

- Really?- The general matched his smile. - Von, you shouldn't be suspicious of me. -

- If I've offended you, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.- The corner smile widened. - But in whatever position I am in, now and in the past, I don't fully trust anyone.-

- Not even Sophie? - That question in reply surprised him, and the general did not fail to notice.

- Sophie is like a hurricane, taking and damaging everything around her. She has no control at times, I think the only thing she knows how to do is wreck it. - His smile only widened. - On the other hand, she is as beautiful as a lotus flower that grows in the worst of environments, and with that, she encompasses me in the madness she feels.-

- Do you trust her? - The voice sounded more impassive than before.

- In a way. - His smile cracked and Von realized what he had said. - Not completely. She doesn't trust me either. She thought I would run away.-

Von's voice was calm. Sophie felt no trembling when he spoke of her. She felt her heart slowing down, being squeezed by Von's words. Sure, listening to the conversation from behind the door had never been the best option.

But it was Von who was what he said.

He who was hurting her.

He who didn't care.

He who didn't trust.

He who lied.

Who hid.

But Sophie didn't understand, and there was a reason for that..

.

.

.

Blair's room was dark, night had fallen, but Sophie had nowhere else to go. She hadn't turned on the light, not wanting to see her bastard sister's face. Everything that had happened gave her a horrible urge to cry. She couldn't understand why life had become so complicated as the deeds went on. Sure enough, everything had changed with Von's arrival. Her obligations had changed, her greed had changed, her behavior, temperament, and appearance had changed. The missions were no longer just fun and made her bleed. Bleeding almost to death, as happened to Lance. Bleeding on the outside and on the inside. Sometimes she was irritated by her own weak behavior. That scar was a constant reminder that she never sits weak again. It could be because of her work, her family, and even her heart, but she would not weaken.

But at the thought of her heart, Sophie felt herself bleeding again. How long had she been bleeding in silence? She remembered when she had been on the floor bleeding and Von had been kissing Angela. Her memory was vaguer than a summer breeze. But in that hour, in Blair's room, remembering all that she had been through, she bled. She felt like crying.

To cry for her past.

Cry for his past.

Cry because she wanted to cry for his past.

Cry for her mistakes.

Cry because she was weak

Cry for your feelings.

- Turn on the light. - Von spoke behind him, the door was open and Sophie could only see his silhouette reflected in the glass of the window.

- Why? - She said, smiling without turning around.

- It is dark. - Sophie looked up and tried to control the tears that wanted to come out.

- It really is getting dark. - She said in a good tone. - It's been dark for so long...-

- Light it up. - He growled in irritation at her.

- Is it that important to you? - She turned away with a weak smile. Von felt his heart race at the sight. He was sure she knew what he had said about her.

- No.- He didn't answer immediately. He could only see the white of her eyes, the green was completely gone.

- Leave it dark. Turning on the light won't change anything. - Change. That word reached Von's ear like a sharp spear. He closed his eyes and pulled her by the wrist, pulling her out of that dark room.

.

.

.

- What do you think you're doing.- She said quickly. Her voice wasn't quite a shout, but Von could feel her tense. - Let me go! - He released her when they reached her room. He looked at her green pupils and breathed a sigh of relief.

- She has to rest. - That was the first thing that popped into his mind. He simply couldn't bear to see Sophie alone in the darkness, and took her out without thinking.

- Why are you like this, Von? - She spoke up, staring at him. - Why do you want to be alone but not leave me alone?-

-That's no place to be alone.-

- Stop your lies! - She said in a crying tone. Her hands were shaking and she didn't know how she could still stand on wobbly legs.

- I'm not lying, Sophie! - . Von said in a good tone. Her pupils dilated a little and her eyes could be totally black by now.

- Yes, you are! - she said and grabbed his blouse. - You're just lying! You lie, you lie! - She spoke in a crying voice without letting the tears roll down her face.

- I'm not lying! - He kissed her because he knew he would break, he kissed her because he knew she would break. He kissed her so hard he felt her melt. But it wasn't only her, it was him too.

- No... - She said between kisses. - No... - But as the words came out, both Von and Sophie could not believe them.

When Sophie ran her hand through his brown hair. Von urged his sanity. He kept making mistakes. But was being with Sophie really a mistake? He couldn't think, not when she kissed him back in such a hot way. He pushed her onto the bed and continued kissing her. The moment he felt safe enough to let go of her lips, he kissed his way down to her bra. He stared at her with his eyes burning with lust, and couldn't resist when the green orbs had an intense glow. She tore off the white blouse that was sticking out of her black overcoat. The sight of her breasts contained in the white bra drove him out of his mind, making him kiss her more voluptuously.

In Sophie's mind there was only one thing, or rather one name... Von. She couldn't stop. She couldn't move or say no. She was just there, present. She wanted him, but all her memories were cascading back to her.

- Von ...- she whispered as he nibbled on the nipple of her breast. He ignored her, feeling more ecstatic at the sweetness with which she pronounced his name. - Please...-

- Hm? -he looked down at her as he bit her. His brown eyes reached her heart and Sophie felt like she was about to tear it open.

- Stop... - Sophie whispered as hard as she could. The sparkle in her eyes turned into a solitary tear streaming down her white face. Von froze and lost all his excitement.

-What happened? - he whispered in frustration. He lay down beside her and watched her tear roll.

Those words echoed in his mind. What was wrong? Why was her heart beating like a gong? Why could she simply not get out of Von's arms? It was because of him that her heartbeat was racing, it always was. He had saved her, all right. He had kissed another woman, she saw it with her eyes. She burned with fury, with Monick, with Angela, even with Samantha. She went crazy when she heard about Lucy. Her jealousy was stamped on her skin, boiling her blood. Sophie looked at her past and tried to create a future. She could only remember everything she had been through with Von, and could only imagine moments with him. She sighed deeply, and remembered Diana's words. It made her shiver, another tear ran down and Sophie cursed.

- I am in love. - She heard the truth come out of her mouth in an almost light-hearted tone. She ripped her heart out with a dagger, not caring how much it bled. After all, it was already dark.

- I know. - Von replied in the same tone without much thought. He watched her blush slowly and brushed his forehead against hers. - What's stopping you?-

- It's for you. - She looked down at her chest, looking away.

- I know that, Sophie. -He pulled away from her and Sophie let out another tear just as he pulled away from her.

- Since when? - She asked, still looking at his chest.

- I don't know.- He laughed and sat up in bed. - I've known for a while. You're not very good at hiding your feelings, Sophie. -

- Even I didn't know that.- She whispered and stood up, managing to look at the black orbs. - Why did you say those things today, when you're the one shattering me? - Von would have laughed if he could.

But all he did was pull her by the back of her neck again and press her lips together.

It's so you don't get hurt. But those words died in his throat. Von had gone crazy. His mind was clouded, and once he had started, he wouldn't stop for the world. He felt Sophie's tongue more vividly, felt her touching him more willingly. Undoubtedly, getting it out made her feel more at ease.

Sophie grabbed his hair while biting his lips. Now this was the woman he wanted, not the weak one from before. Von smiled inwardly, releasing Sophie's lips and licking her ear. He heard her give a little moan, but didn't care. One hand was still on the back of her neck, and the other was squeezing her left breast. He licked the entire length of her ear and moved his lips down the back of her neck to her other breast. Von's hand left her left breast and followed her bra, trying to find the bundle. He tried to let go twice and gave up.

- I can't get this damn thing open. - He grunted at her, and saw her laugh. Sophie removed her overcoat and her torn white blouse. Von's brown eyes showed all the desire he felt at that moment, Sophie blushed lightly. - No. Wait, I can open it. -He pulled her between his legs and pushed the red strands aside, kissing the white shoulders and distributing light bites until he reached the white bra.

- Are you sure you can do it? - She laughed and took Von's hands in hers, interlacing their fingers.

- Are you serious? - he whispered in her ear and stifled a giggle against her skin. - Of course it is. - Von closed Sophie's fingers in his hand and pressed his groin against her back, bringing her closer to him. Sophie felt Von's tongue slide across her shoulders and in a single moment, felt the pressure of her bra disappear.

-Oh, you did it. - She turned to face the brown pupils and tried to release her fingers. Von let go and ran his hand inside her bra, closing his eyes with pleasure at having her breasts in his hands.

After a while of just squeezing them, Von trailed his hands down Sophie's leather pants. His lips traced down her back and left little purple spots on her white skin. He brought her to her knees to try to remove her pants. He unzipped her and lowered her and her pants down while biting at each exposed skin. When her white buttocks appeared, Von counted to ten to control his sanity and not climb on top of her at that moment. He licked her hard, and when Sophie moaned her name out loud, he couldn't resist biting her. Pulling the pants down to Sophie's knees, Von laid her down on the mattress and ran his tongue down her legs while watching her green eyes burn with lust. When he saw himself getting close to her intimacy, Sophie tensed up.

- If you don't take off your damn clothes, I will! - Sophie grunted and got down on her knees on the bed, making Von almost forget to breathe at the sight of her. The moonlight reflected off her white skin, giving it a slight bluish tint. Her long red hair was still tossed to one side, and Sophie's face could be mistaken for that color.

- Then you'd better get started. - She sensed the malicious tone in which he spoke.

Sophie approached calmly and took Von's face in her hands, making him look at her. They stared at each other for a long time, green over brown. When Von's desire began to calm down, Sophie pulled him into a warm kiss, reminding him that this war was not over.

She slipped her hand inside the leather jacket Von was wearing and felt the heat emanating from him. She moaned against his lips and began to slowly remove the jacket, making circular movements on his chest.

- Soph... Hurry up... - Von whispered, still against her lips, and all she did was continue to remove it. When the jacket was lying on the other side of the bed, Von grabbed her by the wrist and made her fall onto her legs. That's when Sophie felt his member pulsing against her crotch, saying goodbye to the sanity she was trying to maintain. - You're slow.- He whispered against her ear, and quickly removed the gray blouse he was wearing. - I'll leave the pants for you.-

Sophie blinked twice, staring at the smile that had grown on Von's lips. She kissed him more intensely, more eagerly, as if this was the last time she would ever kiss him, or as if her life depended on it. When she felt that her moment of madness had passed, she began to copy him, giving her kisses the direction of his neck. She ran her tongue down Von's chest, sucking on some of the skin and then blowing on it, making Von go into a state of ecstasy he hadn't yet known. She was torturing him.

- Hurry...- His voice was huskier than usual and Sophie turned her full attention to Von's face. His brown eyes were closed, his hair was messy and fell to his broad shoulders. His face had a slight reddish tinge and he was biting his lips as he gripped the sheets tightly.

As much as Sophie tried to control her instincts, her mouth met his again in a desperate caress. Her hands trailed from his chest to the beginning of his crotch, when Sophie came across his jeans. Trembling fingers unbuttoned the button and unzipped the zipper. She gasped when she felt the bulge in Von's black underwear and felt him chuckle between his lips.

Her fingers calmly slipped under the fabric and in a few seconds Sophie had Von's penis in her hand. She opened her green eyes and saw the brown pupils staring back at her. She blushed a little, and began to move her hand. She heard a soft moan coming from Von and looked at him with a lump in her throat. He smiled and Sophie continued to increase the speed. Von moaned louder and kissed her again, biting her lips with unnecessary force.

As Sophie's speed increased, Von began to go into his sleepy state. No, he was not sleepy, but rather hypnotized by the face Sophie was making. The moment she bit her own lips, excited by the pleasure she was giving him, Von reversed positions.

- I can't take it anymore. - He whispered as he stared at the confused green orbs. He pulled his pants and underwear down to his knees, and Sophie stood up and made mention of touching him. Von looked at her with a cold glare, making Sophie's spine freeze. He grabbed her wrist and threw her onto the bed - Now, Miss Chasseur, you will get a preview of what is called submission.-

Sophie opened her mouth to protest, but Von shut it with his index finger. A wicked smile was born on his lips, and he quickly placed both of Sophie's hands on top of her head. He bit her lips in a possessive kiss, and his free hand slid down to Sophie's belly. Touching her lips, he bit his tongue, controlling the moan that stubbornly escaped. His hand began to move slowly as she moved euphorically, still with Von biting his tongue, Von penetrated another finger, making circular movements, Sophie moaned loudly and squirmed a little. She asked him to stop, but his response was only a dirty look.

Von withdrew his fingers, and licked them, still looking at her with lust-filled brown orbs. He let go of Sophie's hands, but they remained on top of his head. He bent his white legs and took light bites on her thigh, going all the way to her privates. She licked it with precision, hearing her name being moaned by the woman.

The only mistake at that moment was looking at her. Her face flushed, her eyes closed, and her mouth open, showing her white teeth. Von smiled again watching her.

- Von... Please. - She moaned again, snapping Von out of his sanity.

She didn't even have to ask. Von took his member and slowly penetrated her, causing Sophie to almost go insane. She moaned louder and Von laughed, continuing to torture her. She reached her limit and arched her body, finding Von's chest and grabbing him by the hair. Von's laughter grew louder and he slowly penetrated her completely. He captured her plump lips and felt her moan against his. He increased the speed, and one hand went to the red strands, grabbing her.

Sophie's nails left a trail of redness down Von's back. The moans were louder and more muffled, the thrusts were faster and more violent. Sophie felt her body shudder and looked at Von who still had his eyes closed, a loud moan escaped her lips and he felt the liquid flowing. He reached the limit afterwards. He withdrew from her and fell onto the bed beside her.

-Von...-

- Quiet. - He said breathlessly, staring up at the dark ceiling. - I need my cigarettes.- He threatened to get up and Sophie held him by the wrist.

- I have them here. - Von turned, looking at her with a confused look.

- Cigarettes? -he quirked an eyebrow.

- Cigarettes. - She said, rolled a little on the bed and stretched out her arm, opening a drawer and pulling out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter.

- Why do I think this is my influence? - Von said, taking the pack and the lighter from her hand.

- Why would it be? - Sophie smiled and stood up, looking at herself in the mirror.

- You mean you were smoking before you met me? - He wrapped himself in the blanket. - -it's too cold to be walking around naked, Miss Chasseur.-

- My body is still pretty warm. - She turned her attention to him. - I never said I smoked.-

- You don't smoke? - He laughed - Whose cigarettes are these?-

- Yours. - She turned back to the bed and Von returned his gaze to her naked body.

- Did you steal them? - He laughed again. -I'd better get into bed before I lose my mind again. -

- You haven't smoked since Blair got here. - Sophie sat up in bed and stared at the window. - Which you'd love not to lose.-

- But I did. - Von removed the blanket and got up to find his clothes. - It was... great. But if I stay here, seeing you like this, tomorrow you won't be able to walk. -

- What? - She let out a nervous laugh. - You... are going?

- I can't sleep here. - She kept staring at the window - Sophie, stop looking away.-

- I'm afraid to look into your eyes. - She whispered, still staring into the darkness outside.

- Afraid? - He spoke in a good tone. He picked up his pants and underwear, and quickly put them on.He looked for his blouse and saw it lying next to Sophie. - I'm not a danger to you. -

- You're not? - She looked at him and smiled bitterly. Von felt weak again, feeling his heart slow down at the distant look Sophie gave him. It had hit him. She was in love. Holy shit, she was really in love.

-This is no time to be ashamed.- He tried to tease her, reaching up and lifting her head with his index finger, drowning in the sea of green.

- I'm not ashamed. - she said softly.

- Remorseful? -

-Not at all. -

- So... ? - He said, bringing their lips together.

- It's a lot to think about.-

- Ah... - Von looked away, but they were still too close. - I'm going to my room. - He let go of her and took her blouse, put it on and went towards the door. Sophie felt her heart fail. She took a deep breath, clenched her fist and stood up.

- Von! - she said in a loud voice. When he turned around, she kissed him. She pressed him against the door and simply kissed him. A slow and intense kiss, full of passion and a feeling that Sophie put into it.

- I really can't stay any longer. -

As she said this, she gave him a little kiss on the lips and walked out the door.
