As Rein stood on his feet with his head turned towards heath who had now regained consciousness, the anomality who had been blown to quite a distance returned back with a lightning speed. Electric current sparked throughout its tough scales and axe.
It reached behind Rein in an instant with its axe ready to strike.
"Behind you", screamed Aron.
Rein with his back turned towards the anomality didn't move a muscle. But instead, the ground on which the anomality stood bulged out in an upward motion taking the beast with it.
"What the hell", Heath murmured to himself as he saw the enormous beast airborne.
"Take your sister and the kids and get as far as you can", said Rein looking upward at the elongating ground.
"But I can still-"
Before Heath could complete his sentence, the ground below rein also started rising, first slowly and then in an instant it reached the same level as the anomality.
Now rein and the anomality were on the same level facing each other.
The ground kept on rising for the both of them until it reached a point where rein was in between the anomality and the moon (from the beast's perspective rein's back was turned towards the moon)
Without losing a second the anomality, now considering rein a threat, growled in a ghastly voice and raised it's left arm clenching it's fist. It was as if it was uttering something in a foreign language, hearing which would send chills down to one's spine.
The atmosphere suddenly changed, the clear sky was now filled with dark clouds which hid the moon.
[On the ground
The groups who were advancing towards the center stopped as the dark shadow of the clouds restricted what little of, he light that moon had to offer.
They looked up as they heard the beast roaring, only to see raised the two raised platforms, one of which stood still while the other soared through the sky, it was the one on which rein stood.
But to the observers the man stood unidentified because of the vast distance between them.
[Lark's group]
"Sir", said one of the troop member.
"It's the anomality", said Lark.
"What do we do sir?", said another troop.
"Hope", replied Lark.
"Hope?", said the first one in a confused tone.
"Hope that the one clashing with it is on our side", replied Lark in a serious voice.
[Vilson's group]
"Keeping running" , said Vilson. As his troops were about to stop to watch the live combat.
"We need to regroup, to prepare for the worst-case scenario", Vilson added.
"Yes, sir", said the troops in a combined voice.
[Korb's group]
"There's too many of them", said a troop as he grasped for breath surrounded by his comrades who rose from the dead.
"Get the necromancer", screamed Korb as a sword pierced his abdomen.
