Sora's P.O.V.
I slowly opened my eyes to see a blue ceiling above me. "Ugh, my head…" I slowly sat up, wincing in pain as I grabbed my neck. I looked down to see I was in a bed and covered up. "How did I end up in bed… the last thing I remember was… I… I can't remember…" I slowly got out of bed as pain shot through my neck, as I quickly grabbed it. "Gah! D-damn that hurt!" I heard footsteps running towards my door, with me quickly facing it to see Mia run into the room. "S-Sora are you ok?!" I nodded as I saw her look at my neck. "Y-Yeah I'm fine, just some neck pain." I smiled softly when she suddenly said. "Show me your neck." I was slightly confused when she said that. "W-What?" She then yelled. "I SAID SHOW ME YOUR NECK SORA!" I jumped slightly as I moved my hand showing my neck, it showed the Pentagram slowly start to line up, line with a deep crimson red light. "... I'll be back later Sora… I'm going to the store, I'll get you your favorite things ok?" I slowly nodded as the image of her yelling flashed in my mind, with her leaving the room. "I have never seen her like that… w-was that really Mia…"
Cherry's P.O.V.
I was walking home from school, but I didn't go straight home. I wandered around, to stores, parks, anywhere I could go. I noticed a bench, as I sat down in it. "It's been almost a week since I last saw him, I mean I see Mia around, but never Sora." I looked down to the ground. "And last time I asked Mia where he is, she just looks sad, but says he's not feeling well." I sighed looking down, worried about Sora. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, pulling it out, I noticed I had a few missed calls from my mom, and a text from her. "Hey, are you on your way home yet?" I looked at the message before replying. "No, i'm just walking around right now, I should be back in around ten minutes." I sighed looking around me, seeing people walking, a few couples, I felt my phone buzz again in my hand. I looked down at my phone. "Ok, just be careful. See you soon, love you." I smiled softly replying to her. "Ok mom I will, I love you too." I put my phone in my pocket, looking up at the sky. "I hope he's ok…" I looked down as people on bikes and couples passed by. I sighed getting up, to feel something hit my shoulder. I looked up to feel a few drops of water hit my face, then it started to rain. I looked down to see everyone around running to get out of the rain, as I just stood there letting the rain fall on me. I stood in the rain for a few minutes, till eventually moving to find some shelter from the rain. I noticed a gas station, running inside, to see it was nearly empty. I looked around slightly as I pulled my phone out checking the time. "2:40 huh? I don't have an umbrella on me, so should I wait till it stops raining?" I thought, looking out the window seeing it pouring. "It might take awhile, my best bet would be to run home." I thought as I sighed softly looking for something to snack on and to drink. I went down looking down the rows of shelves, grabbing a bag of chips, and some-type of soda. I went to the register to pay for my chips and soda, as the total came up to $7.30 dollars. I went looking through my wallet pulling out a ten dollar bill, handing it to the cashier. "Here's your change." He said, smiling as I took my change, chips, and soda, as I threw up my hood for my jacket walking outside in the rain. I started to run back towards my house as quickly as I could so my mom didn't have to worry. I was running for about two minutes, running past buildings, some trees, and ending up turning in the direction of a dead end alley. I looked at the wall that was ahead of me, it was a standard brick wall, it had some cracks in it while some paint on it, most likely graffiti, but the one thing that was different about this graffiti was that I could see it, but the image was blurry. I got closer to it by taking about three to four steps while the rain was still pouring on me, but I didn't care or seem to notice the rain. I looked at the graffiti, at first I couldn't see what it was very well, but the closer I got, the clearer I was able to see it. It seemed like it was moving, like waves from the ocean, I felt like it was calling to me with me taking a few more steps towards it. The image was now clear enough for me to see it, it was an X with a circle around it. "Find the one who also bears this mark." I heard a voice in my head say that as I quickly turned around to see if anyone was there. I saw no one there, But it looked like something. I saw someone with a pitch black jacket, with the very symbol on his back, it seemed like fire was surrounding him, pitch black flames. I felt my body shake slightly as I saw him turn to face me, for some reason I couldn't see his face, all I could see was deep crimson red eyes and a somewhat demonic smirk. He took a step towards me as the wind blew, blowing his hair back, revealing a mark on his neck, the same mark that was on his jacket and the wall.
I gulped softly as I realized that besides flames it seemed like lighting was slowly forming around him, a deep crimson red lighting with black outline surrounding him. I blinked as I saw him slowly fade away, but the image of his eyes and his smirk stayed in my mind, I quickly looked back to where the graffiti was. It was gone, like completely gone no trace of it. "W-What was that… the mark on the wall… and who was that person I saw… He seemed familiar, but different at the same time." I looked up as I let the rain fall down on me. "Um hello?" I jumped turning around to see a girl with deep blue hair and golden eyes looking at me. "You're Cherry right?" I nodded, sighing. "Yea that's me, I know we only talked a few times but please try to remember my name Mia." I saw Mia smile a bit, rubbing the back of her head. "Yeah sorry, a lot of stuff has happened." I smiled softly walking up to, taking my jacket off and covering her with it. "You know it's raining right? Why did you come out here without a jacket or umbrella?" I asked as she looked down a bit breathing in slowly. "W-Well Sora just got out of the hospital and I-I just went to the store to get him someth-" I didn't let her finish her sentence as I yelled slightly. "W-Wait he was in the hospital?! Since when!" I slightly yelled "About a week ago, he's at my home resting right now." I looked at her, hoping she was joking, but from the look on her face I knew she wasn't joking. "W-Why was he in the hospital?!" I slightly demanded. "Well… he was in the hospital, in a coma for about three to four days then was discharged two days later, so he's resting on at my home." I sighed softly glad he's ok. "Mia could I go to see Sora at your house?" She shook her head softly like she wasn't fully listening or was distracted by something.. "No he'll be at school tomorrow, you can see him tomorrow." I looked down, as the rain was getting heavier, now barely able to even see down the street. "B-But you said he was resting at your place." I heard her sigh slightly. "I did yes, but he'g going back to school tomorrow, so you can see him tomorrow." She said, taking off the jacket I put on her, handing it back to me. Water was pouring on her, but she didn't seem to care, as she turned around. "See you at school." she said smiling, I could tell because the side of her face moved into a smile as she ran down the streets. I watched as she slowly disappeared in the rain, just standing there.
Mia's P.O.V.
I ran down the street, breathing hard for a few minutes. "Dammit it's only been one day since he was back with us now they are already after him?! I have to hurry and find him before it's too late!" I thought as I stopped running looking behind me. Behind me was about a six foot man, he was wearing mostly purple clothing. "Excuse me do you need something?" I asked, trying to act like I didn't know what he was, as he just looked down at me. "You… you know where he is…" I tilted my head slightly. "Who are you talking about?" I heard his voice growl slightly as I was just smiling. "The child… of The Shouko Family… where is he." I did a fake gasp smiling. "Oh you mean Sora!" My fake smile changed into a glare. "You won't go anywhere near him." He growled as I saw his eyes go pitch black. I smiled softly. "Oh I'm sorry," I said as he swung his left fist down over my head. I quickly moved away with him slamming his hand into the ground cracking it. "Did I make you mad?" I kicked him in the side, blowing him back a bit, hearing him growl. "Give him to me…" I shook my head slowly as I reached in my pocket and pulled out a handle and hilt of a blade. "I'm sorry sir, but he isn't going back to them." I held up the handle and hilt into the air as a blade started to form. The blade was a light blue blade, with deep blue markings on it. As the blade formed the markings on it flashed white. "COME AZARIEL!" The blade then flashed a bright white color, as it looked like it seemed to be pulling water out of the air. I saw the man's face turn into fear. "You… your one of them…" I smirked as the rain was now surrounding my blade. It looked like a small wave was now around my blade. "Yes, I'm one of them, the ones that slay your kind." I heard him growl loudly. "Your kind shouldn't be around him!" I lightly twitched as I tightened my grip on my sword. "My kind?... it's your kind that's polluted him!" I pointed the blade at him as it seemed like water bursted around my body, slightly surrounding me. I saw him smirk as he gripped his fist. " Heh, kill me then, then let them know that you are harboring him, they wont stop till he's back with them! You filthy Dem-." I didn't let him finish as I swung my blade as a slash of water went towards him, hitting his throat chopping off his head. I watched as his body fell to the ground with his head rolling towards me, as his body slowly fades into ash. "Send them… it's my job as a 'filthy Demon Slayer' after all, to slay them." I lessened my grip on my sword as the blade faded as I tucked it into my pocket, walking back down the street, back home. "Now time to go home to see Sora!" I smiled brightly with the thought of him in mind as I started to run back home as fast as possible, not noticing that I have a bit of blood on me.
Sora's P.O.V.
I was looking out the window as I heard footsteps coming towards the room I'm in, with the door opening, seeing Rose. "Oh hey Rose, you need something?" I asked, looking towards her. "No, just checking up on you." She said sitting on the bed I woke up on. "Ok, well i'm not dead, so I think i'll be fine." I smiled softly as I heard her laugh softly. "I can't see how Mia can deal with you." I acted to be hurt, by fake gasping. "How dare you, i'm a very likeable person you know." Rose laughed softly again, with me looking away fake pouting. "Aww, i'm sorry Sora, I was just joking." I looked at her as I saw her smile and hug me. I slightly jumped from the surprise hug, but hugged back. "Now that's a first, you never willingly hug back." She said as she broke the hug. "What have you done with my Sora huh?" I blushed when she said 'my Sora' but smiled to try to hide it. "Your Sora huh, does that mean you like me?" I saw her face light up slightly as she looked away. "N-No!" I laughed softly as I was now proud of my revenge on her. "Hey Sora, Rose come on down for dinner!" I heard Rose's mom yell from down stairs. "O-Oh that's why I came up here." she said, just remembering it. "Let's go eat!" She grabbed my hand and gently pulled towards her and the door. I just smiled, following her, down stairs.
Me and Rose were heading down stairs as we heard the front door open to see Mia run on in, to get out of the rain. "Mia are you ok?" She was softly panting, smiling softly as she hugged me. "M-Mia what brought this on." She just smiled, nodding. "Yeah I'm fine, just a bit wet!" I smiled a bit, noticing some red splashes on her, it almost looked like… "Hey Mia, your home just in time for din-" Rose stopped as she looked at the red splashes on Mia. "Hey, mom! I think you need to talk to Mia about some things!" Phoebe their mother came in seeing the same red splashes on her, as she walked over there to her. "Kitchen now." Phoebe seemed mad as Mia looked down nodding, as they both started walking towards the kitchen. Rose grabbed Mia's shoulder softly whispering something I couldn't hear. She let her go as Mia walked into the kitchen as Rose sat down, I walked over to her, seeing that she was pissed but once she saw me she smiled brightly hiding any frustration from a few seconds ago. "Sit Sora, mom will be back with her soon." She said smiling as I sat down looking at the table waiting.
Mia's P.O.V.
Mom brought me into the kitchen as she stopped, and looked at me. "Do you know why I brought you in here?" I shook my head as mom grabbed my arm showing that there was a small bloodstain. I quickly tried to move my hand away, but my mom's grip was too tight. "Don't hide it! Is this blood?!" My mom asked me, slightly yelling. I jumped slightly, slowly nodding as she sighed letting go of my arm.. "Is that your blood?" mom asked in a calm tone, I shook my head softly. "N-No, I-I don't think so, i-i think it's the blood of that demon I kil-" My mom interrupted me and yelled. "Demon!? You fought a Demon! Worst of all you left their blood on you!" I looked down, wishing I never said anything. "You know what happened to your older sister when she left Demon blood on herself too long!" I nodded slowly. "Come here right now!" I nodded walking to mom, as she pulled out a smaller version of my blade, but this one was different. It had a crystal-like tip that was slightly glowing, the rest of it had some markings on it but in the center was one mark that symbolized my family: a diamond in a circle. She grabbed my arm, golding the crystal-like thing above my area where the blood was. "Angel Barachiel, please lend us your power and remove this demonic energy." It felt like my arm was on fire for a second from how much it hurt, causing me to yelp in pain, almost like it was burning, but I ignored the pain as the blood slowly faded away and the burning stopped. "There, now be careful next time you hear me?" Mom asked in a serious tone. "Yes… I understand…" I said looking down. She just hugged me, causing me to jump. "Just be careful, I couldn't bear to lose another one…" I looked at my mom, seeing tears in her eyes, as I hugged back. A few minutes pass then mom breaks the hug and turns me around slightly pushing me out of the kitchen. "Now to the table, it's time to eat." I smiled softly. "Yeah, Yeah mom I know." I left the kitchen, seeing my sis and Sora sitting at the table.
I smiled and went to go sit down, sitting next to Sora by pulling up a chair hugging his arm. "Guess who's back!" I said smiling, slightly laughing. I looked up at Sora as his eyes flashed Crimson red for a second, but went back to black. I then felt him ruffle my hair. "H-Hey stop that!" I said laughing trying to push his hands off my head. "Nope, I shall never stop." He kept on ruffling my hair with me and him falling out of our chairs. We both hit the ground hard. "O-Ow, S-Sora are you ok?" I asked, looking to my side not seeing him. "Wait… if he's not beside me does that mean?..." I thought looking above me, seeing Sora on top of me. I-I'm fine Mia, are you ok?" He asked with concern in his voice, not realizing the situation we are in. My face flushed bright red. "Y-Yeah I'm fine." I was blushing harshly as I saw him smile softly. "I'm glad, I was worried you'd hurt yourself." I was still blushing as our lips were so close, that if I leaned just a bit closer I could kiss him, or if he leaned down. All I could do was nod when I heard my sister's voice. "Get a room, you two!" I jumped a bit as both my and Sora's lips touched. "M-Mmm?!" I was kissing him, I felt my whole body shiver as our lips were touching. As quick as our lips had touched, they were parted as he quickly sat up. I was softly panting looking up at him as he got up holding his hand out for me. I saw he was blushing, as I took his hand, with him pulling me up. "I-I'm sorry." He said blushing softly. "I-I know that was your first kiss," He started to say as I was still blushing from the kiss, seeing mom walk out of the kitchen with a pot. "And you had to give it to someone like me." I suddenly felt mom's glare on me. "What's this I hear about a first kiss?" she sat the pot down walking over to us, mostly Sora. "U-Um I swear it was an accident." He said nervously as mom just glared at him. "You kissed my daughter by accident," She said, pulling Sora close, glaring at him. "How in the hell do you kiss someone by accident?" He looked away slowly. "U-Um w-well it just happened."
"M-Mom he didn't mean to, it was m-my fault." Mom looked at me with a glare. "So you kissed a man who's like a brother-" Sora cut her off quickly "Father, I'm like a father to her." She went back to glaring at him. "That makes it even worse! It's like she kissed her own father!" She practically yelled. "I-'' Sora only said as he looked at me. "She's right, how dare you kiss your father figure, tsk tsk bad Mia" I was about to protest but didn't when mom hit him in the head, with him grabbing it in pain, well more like acting like it hurt. "O-Ow Ow come-on Phoebe you have to hit that hard?" She scoffed softly. "I barely used any strength when I hit you." He just laughed softly, rubbing his head gently. "Y-Yeah I know, i just wanted to see your reaction." He said smiling as he quickly gripped his head, looking like he was in pain.
