"War! Finally!" head priest Tang screamed as he ran into the hall. He was so excited that his eyes were sparkling and he had a lot more than a little bounce in his step.
He was practically floating over to the emperor, wagging his tail as he walked toward him.
This was his big moment. He had been looking forward to this all his life. This was the second biggest moment of his life, only second to the announcement that he would be the new general. This was his moment to shine.
His first war!
His mother would have been so proud of him! He was going to get to go out and stab 'enemies'! He was going to have all of the army looking up to him for orders, and when he came back victorious, he was going to have the status that general Sun had enjoyed for so many years!
He hadn't gone to meet the army since he was appointed general, heck, he had never met the army. But this was the time. He needed to make at least a few allies.
