After controlling her emotions like a grown adult should, Bai Jingfei calmly walked back to the shed with a pail of water in her hands. It was a long, shame filled walk back, but it had to be done. She needed to make her potions sooner or later.
Better later than sooner, but oil burns so sooner was the only option.
She slowly walked into the shed, her eyes on the ground and her shoulders hunched. Song Yongrui smiled as she walked in and poured the water into the pot.
"Why'd you leave?" he laughed.
"The mixture needed water. I was getting water." She refused to make eye contact with him, her eyes on the ground the whole time. She focused on the ground for so long that Song Yongrui had to take a peek to check if there was something interesting on it.
"Sure~"
"No really, it needs water." said Bai Jingfei, finally lifting her head and taking a glance at him. She tried to look serious but it wasn't really possible with her features.
