Meanwhile in Jinwoo's quiet residence, Yujin still faithfully closed her eyes after the woman was limp due to Jinwoo's strangulation.
In the darkest corner of the room, Jinwoo stared at the figure of a woman on his bed while waiting for the woman to open her eyes. No matter how that man felt now, he looked very messed up.
Today he has clearly violated several ethical codes that have always kept him from all the madness of his thoughts. But all of this is because of Yujin! If that woman had not barged into his house and acted boldly by challenging him, he would not be even more eager to get rid of her. But there was one thing that made Jinwoo unable to kill Yujin. The woman's gaze, which conveyed sincerity and hope, made his conscience melt a little. Never once did he meet a woman like Yujin who was able to thrill his heart because of the sincerity she had. Unfortunately he couldn't let Yujin into his life. He is a cruel man. Meanwhile, Yujin is a gentle woman who has a bright future. Yujin would be much better off living with his younger brother than with him who is clearly a sociopath.
"Damn it! Im Jaehyuk started to suspect me."
Suddenly Hyuki appeared from outside the room screaming huffily. Jinwoo who saw that immediately got up and pushed Hyuki away so that his voice didn't bother Yujin.
"This is all because of you, you hurt Yujin and make Yujin fainted. Now all South Korean special forces are looking for Yujin. If they find Yujin here in such a terrible condition, you will die! Your career as a general will be over!"
Jinwoo punched Hyuki hard in the face and made the man stagger a few meters back. Hyuki's chatty attitude made his hands itch to stuff the man's big mouth.
"You know that Yujin will end up like that, but you let her into my house. You should be blamed for all of this!"
Hyuki was silent on the spot while looking at Jinwoo full of regret. He thought that Jinwoo would not cross his line, considering that he had been able to hold himself well. But who would have thought that Yujin's stubborn attitude could make Jinwoo lose his temper, so that the man acted reckless and hurt Yujin. They both have to plan quickly if they don't want their careers to be ruined.
"We have to immediately do something before they find Yujin in your house."
"General Lee..."
The two men turned quickly towards the door to the room that had suddenly opened. Hyuki, who saw Yujin realized from fainting, went straight to the woman and hugged her. Feelings of guilt and also regret immediately enveloped Hyuki's heart when he saw how bad Yujin was right now after experiencing a series of terrible events that Jinwoo had done to her.
"I'm okay oppa, don't feel guilty like that."
The woman tried to smile sincerely at Hyuki and continued to convince Hyuki that she was okay. She realized that all of this wasn't necessarily Hyuki's fault, but her fault that forced her way into Jinwoo's house. She won't blame anyone for what happened to her today. She had enough to blame herself for being too stubborn and obsessed with Jinwoo.
"Sorry, your face is injured and your neck is turning blue too."
"It's okay, after all you've treated me."
"I didn't do it, but..."
Without needing to listen to Hyuki's explanation further, Yujin immediately turned her head towards Jinwoo who was also staring at her. The man's gaze still looked the same, cold and full of mystery. Yujin then smiled a gentle smile at Jinwoo while muttering words of gratitude that Jinwoo was able to clearly understand.
"I know you are a good person, General Lee."
Jinwoo immediately shifted his gaze to another direction so that he didn't have to feel sorry when he saw Yujin. The woman clearly looks like a snake to him because from time to time it can spit out a very deadly venom at him. If he let his guard down, his whole heart would easily accept that woman into his life. And he didn't want that to happen.
"Now we have to draw up a plan to repatriate Yujin without Minister Im's suspicion. You must be responsible for all the mess today."
Jinwoo gave a huff and immediately pulled Yujin from Hyuki's arms.
"What are you going to do to Yujin?" Hyuki asked anxiously.
He was ready to pull Yujin out of Jinwoo's grip again if he intended to do another bad thing to Yujin. But the answer that was thrown by Jinwoo managed to make him relieved and canceled his intention to bring Yujin back into his arms.
"I'll send Yujin back, but with a little bit of a show." said Jinwoo casually with his grin.
Yujin looked resigned under Jinwoo's grip when the man pulled her towards the car and neatly put the seat belt on her body.
"Don't try to report to your father or President Kang. Because today I was kind enough to let you live, Miss Yujin." Jinwoo hissed horribly.
Yujin only smiled slightly in response to Jinwoo's threat while nodding casually.
"You take it easy General, I won't say anything to my father because I still have feelings for you."
Jinwoo immediately slammed the car door just after Yujin managed to irritate him because of the love statement that the woman always echoed in front of him. Was that woman so blind that she couldn't tell the difference between a sane man and a man with mental illness? Yujin is really a stupid woman for choosing to love a sociopath like Lee Jinwoo.

The play they had planned had finally begun. First Jinwoo escorted Yujin to minister Im's residence while carrying evidence of the corpse of his victim whom he was torturing today. Jinwoo scapegoated that person as Yujin's attacker. Then he calmly told Mr. Im if he managed to save Yujin after receiving a report from Lee Hyuki if Yujin disappeared.
Thankfully Mr. Im embraced Jinwoo and invited Jinwoo into his house. Tonight, the man who is a sociopath has become a super hero for Minister Im. And all thanks to Yujin's acting skills that managed to convince Minister Im that she had been kidnapped and tortured until her cheek was scratched and then pinned by Jinwoo.
"Father, this evening General Lee has protected me well. In fact, he also treated my wounds before I was sent home," said Yujin earnestly. What Yujin said was the truth because the one who treated her wounds was Lee Jinwoo himself. Even though that man had also hurt her.
"General Lee, I really thank you. You have brought my daughter back to me. I really can't imagine if that criminal managed to hurt my daughter any further, I definitely won't be able to forgive myself."
"It has become my duty," replied the charismatic Jinwoo.
Jinwoo's calm and expertise in attracting others made everyone never think that Jinwoo was a very dangerous sociopath. All the gestures shown by Jinwoo were always clean and neat, so that the madness that he had been covering with his arrogant face would never be known by anyone. Including his own adoptive family.
"Dad, but I'm really scared. What if the people who attacked me show up again?" Yujin asked, glancing at Jinwoo.
The woman had deliberately lured her father into giving her extra guard so that she could ensnare him into her own play.
"Calm down dear, I won't let anyone touch you again. I will ask the special forces to continue escorting you."
"But father..."
Yujin again glanced at Jinwoo to see the man's reaction, which was still cold. But behind that cold expression, Yujin knew that Jinwoo was actually intimidating her.
"Yes, what is up?"
"I don't like being followed by many people. It will look very striking and as if I am the daughter of an important person. Daddy better ask General Lee to be my bodyguard. Isn't general Lee the greatest general South Korea has? He can definitely protect me without involving a lot of troops."
Yujin smiled triumphantly as she glanced at Jinwoo, who was currently holding back his anger while giving her a cold, piercing gaze. She knew that the man would try to avoid her after this incident and she would lose the opportunity to make Lee Jinwoo love her. So she deliberately asked her father to make Lee Jinwoo her bodyguard so that the man could not avoid her or get away from her.
Now you fall into my trap, General Lee
"Okay if that's what you want. General Lee, be a bodyguard for my daughter from now on. I will ask President Kang's permission and order him to formally issue a warrant."
Jinwoo seemed unable to refuse minister Im's order. What minister Im asks is part of his job. If he refused the request in front of all his men, then he would lose his pride as a general.
"Yes, Minister Im, I will be the bodyguard for your daughter."
