The man's aura was too strong. As soon as she got close to him, she become nervous.
After measuring Marvin's shoulders and back with great difficulty, Cathy stood in front of him. She then looked at him and felt embarrassed to speak up.
"Please lift your arms. I want to take measurements of your waist,"
Marvin stood upright and raised his arms slightly. However, not much emotion was shown on his handsome face. Instead, he looked calm.
Watching him like this, Cathy felt less restrained. She kept comforting herself by treating it as if she was taking measurements of an ordinary person.
With that, she held the measuring tape in her hand and reached out from on side of his waist to another.
Although she didn't touch him, her body was very close to him, which made her flustered.
Not daring to think much about it. She stepped back as she pulled the measuring tape.
At this time, Marvin suddenly took a step forward, and their bodies collided.
Cathy couldn't stand straight and fell backwards. However, a firm and powerful arm wrapped around her waist.
His handsome face was close to hers. And his hot breath seemed to be sprinkling on her face.
Marvin's eyes were getting darker as he looked at her.
His lips were to close to her, as if they could kiss at anytime. Cathy's heart was beating wildly, and her mind was blank. Why did she and Marvin suddenly hug each other?
Before she could figure it out. The door was opened from the outside with a click.
"Mr. Gu, I have something important to inform you......."
Cynthia Yang rush in hurriedly. Before she could finish speaking, she was shocked by the scene in front of her.
The new chairman was indeed much more handsome than she had imagined. But why did he hug Cathy? They seemed to be intimate, and it was as though they were about to have........
Marvin's face darkened, and his voice was filled with anger.
"Get the hell out of her."
Cynthia Yang was trembling with fear. After a pause. She came to her senses and got out of his office in a hurry.
Taking advantage of this, Cathy slipped out of Marvin's arms in a hurry. Her cheeks were flushed red. Panicking, she stayed far away from Marvin.
"Mr. Gu, I've finished taking your measurements. Can I leave now?"
Marvin's expression didn't look good, sa he looked at Cathy with a complicated gaze.
Cathy was flustered by his gaze, afraid that he would ask her to do thag again. She gritted her teeth. Without waiting for his consent, she headed outside.
"I'll take my leave now."
After quickly leaving the office, Cathy headed straight for the elevator, as if she was fleeing this building.
"Miss Cathy, wait a minute."
When the elevator was about to close, Assistant Lim ran over to the elevator, pressed the switch, and opened the elevator again.
When she saw him, Cathy couldn't help but think of Marvin. She suddenly felt slightly uneasy. Would he go back on his word and refuse to let her go? Cathy stayed in the elevator.
"Assistant Lim, what's the matter?"
