I lay bleeding in the field, a warrior who had fallen to my own brothers in arms. I was a General in the Elf Queen's army, I was the strongest of us all undefeated I stood as the most powerful existence in this realm. I was tasked to destroy the goblins of the forest. So I took an entire Battalion to ensure that I would overpower the goblins, though when we arrived at the supposed layer of the goblins. There were no goblins. I went into the underground bunker searching for even the slightest sign of life. As I wandered the corridors I noticed some arrows in the wall. There was no mistaking the fact that they were elven and I knew at that point that they were trying to take me out of commission. I played along as if I didn't notice that the bunker had already been cleared by the elves I continued back to the biggest room where I let in 4 of those following me and slammed the door shut locking out the rest of the troops. I then spoke to them saying, "I know about the trap. You didn't do a very good job of cleaning the place up." The 4 of them then began to shake with fear knowing they didn't stand a chance. They had seen demonstrations where I faced 10 of the best-trained men in our forces and utterly destroyed them without so much as breaking a sweat, 10 isn't even close to the most I can face rather that was the highest number of people I could convince to fight me at once. I told them, "I have no interest in fighting my way out of here, I simply want to talk." They smiled and said, "It doesn't matter what you want to do. The queen has ordered your death for fear that you have become too powerful and that you will one day attempt to take control of the kingdom." After that explanation, I didn't hold anything back. I slew every one of them in a matter of seconds. I then threw the door open and began my battle to the surface. I fought a thousand soldiers trained by me myself, I forced my way down the hall to reach the exit. I knew that there were 2 thousand more waiting for me on the outside as I planned to trap any and all individuals from the goblin army, though I didn't expect they would get past me I always plan to have enough troops to take out multiple forces in the event that they are expecting us. I killed all of the soldiers inside with little to no damage and made it into the open air. I ran towards the forces that awaited me, I flew like a raging blade through the army as I killed every single one of them, or so I thought. I had killed so many that I lost count and didn't realize that a small group had hidden itself behind the entrance of the underground bunker. After my battle, I began to walk back to the bunker to rest and think of my next move. I heard a twang and the swooshing sound of an arrow. I turned and snatched the arrow cleanly out of the air and then felt a sharp pain in my back. I turned slicing the neck of the man who stabbed me with the arrow that I pulled out of the air. I again heard that familiar twang and caught this arrow behind my head. I threw one of them at the archer who shot again splitting the arrow in half. I ran toward the archer dodging the arrows launched at me. Then from around the corner came up a blade that barely caught me but managed to make a clean cut between my ribs slicing into my lung. I stabbed the other arrow into his neck taking his sword, cleaving off the head of the archer. I dropped to my knees and slowly slipped into darkness as I lay in this field.
