Last night, Daren arrived at the closest thieves hideout which was located at an inconspicuous tavern called the "Molding Beer".
At the back alley of the bar, there was a stack of wooden boxes that were filled with garbage. Under it was a wooden trap door that was covered in mold.
Lifting the trap door wood initially displays brick stairs. The stairs lead to a place where 10 thieves were sleeping comfortably in sleeping bags.
Watching over them were 5 thieves who stood firmly against the room's walls. Daren had moved the boxes quietly and then proceeded to swiftly open the trap door while running in.
He closed the trap door behind him as he had a string attached to it.
Before the thieves on watch could even react to the trap door opening, Daren had already entered the room. He was like the wind.
Every single person that was standing had felt this wind go by them while a sharp pain could be felt at their necks.
Daren had sliced perfectly at their vocal cord. This made them unable able to scream as he went full circle for a second time and finished everyone with a deep stab in the heart.
It happened so fast that there was not single noise in the room. Daren would slice the vocal cords of a person and then finish them off with a stab into the heart. He did this to every thief, one by one.
All that was left was to set up the scene. Daren first gouged out both pairs of eyes from each body. He then placed them in a perfect circle.
After all that, he collected the horde of multicolored souls in the room.
Daren was just about to leave the scene with their thieves' valuables but he was interrupted by Celina.
"Hey, I have a better idea to make it look more like the works of a demonic cult. First, you should cut off their d*cks. Then you should put their bodies in the system to suck their blood and make them as dry as a tumbleweed."
Celina gave him an impeccable idea. Not only was he making his work seem more demonic but also feeding the system. It was shooting two birds with one stone.
The system then proceeded to suck all 15 bodies in. After about a minute or so, it spits the bodies right back. It had turned all their skins a sandy color. The skin was as thin as paper and the bone was the only thing that was really left.
--------------------------
Blood content: 15/100
Finishing the above with almost all the blood of adult victims will provide you with the first reward. There will be higher blood requirements unlocked later when the host finishes the current one.
--------------------------
'So I kill 85 more people and let the system suck its blood for another ability. That's fine with me. There's more of where that came from.' Daren thought as he ran along the roofs and alleyways.
"Thanks for the idea, Celina."
"Yeah, sure. You should sleep well today. My surprise will be ready for you tomorrow."
"Hehehe. I can't wait to see what you will look like."
........
The next morning, Daren made a large "yaaaaaawn" while stretching his long arms. He had just woken up after a good night's rest.
As he was turning his body to face the other side of the bed, he saw the magnificent face of crimson-haired, golden eyes, and a milky white face that one could never forget.
"Celina?" He questioned the girl, seemingly unfazed by her beauty.
"Does it hurt you have a more surprising reaction? So what do you think?" said Celina. Her sharply outlined jaw, her big, round eyes and those plump, rosy lips moved together to create an expression of excitement.
Daren was somehow holding back on pouring compliments to her for picking a face that would stick out like a white swan among black ducks.
Daren was not going to compliment her it would make it to where they would have trouble staying low-key anywhere they went. She was too attractive. Her face was basically out of this world with its perfection.
This made sense as Celina made a face using features from interstellar idols and models. These idols and models had the best skincare and diets that were possible. They did not need makeup as technology could get rid of any small imperfection like a pimple.
This world does not have that kind of skincare, diet, or technology to make a human look like a goddess.
Celina then proceeded to get up from the bed. She wore a light blue shirt with black, skin-tight shorts that barely covered any of her legs.
Her legs were long and sexy. Her waist was thin. her behind had a firm and round look to it while her chest was also round. Daren thought that it looked like a C or D cup. Her curves were just as godly as her face
Her crimson red hair flowed like a river of blood from the top of her head and down to the waist. The hair on her forehead was in the form of short bangs that covered her crimson eyebrows.
She looked like a goddess who did not give a damn about the world around her. She was carefree and aloof.
"I'm sorry Celina but I don't think I can describe how wonderful you look without sitting down here for an hour. There are just too many words to say and infinite compliments that I could give."
"That's what I wanted to hear. Hehehe. What do you think would happen if I go outside like this?" Celina's voice was sweet and playful while also having a slight deepness to it.
It was exactly the voice that Daren had heard in his head the first time she spoke.
"I think that either people would faint or they would attack me to take you for themselves. Brother Rusky would definitely berate me for downplaying your beauty. What with the clothes from my world though?" Daren asked.
"Oh, these?" she replied while pointing at her aqua blue t-shirt. " I thought that these looked quite comfortable as most girls did not like wearing dresses in your world."
Daren nodded his head in agreement. No one dressed formally anymore when humans had reached the interstellar era. Life was all about comfort.
"So you can materialize any clothes I guess."
"Yup."
"Then how about wearing clothes similar to the ones I am wearing now when you go outside that is. It's not as comfortable as what you are wearing now but it's better than this world's dresses."
" I was planning on doing that." Celina starts shining with a blinding golden color. When that golden light faded, Celina was wearing a new set of clothes.
It was a royal blue dress shirt that was just like Daren's crimson shirt but instead of dragons, it had purple phoenix's lining the end of her sleeves. The flaming, purple phoenixes were also lining the hem of her black, tight pants.
She wore thick-soled boots just like Daren's. They were practically a matching couple if you excluded the difference in shirt color and embroidery.
"Have you thought of an excuse to tell when your so-called 'wife' shows up overnight," she asked Daren while nearly shoving her face to his.
"If you don't make some distance between us, I think I might pounce on you. It's really hard for me to hold it back!" Daren was really trying to hide his attraction towards her but there was nothing he could do.
Not only was Celina blowing his standard of looks away, but she also had the exact personality type he bowed down to. The type of girls that were independent, feisty, and domineering was his type.
Daren was somewhat of a masochist at heart.
"Yeah. I had an excuse since the moment I realized that you were going to have got a body. You remember it right?" Daren was sure that Celina saw his plan then.
"Even though I can not hear your thoughts when I am in my physical form, I can still talk to you via telepathy. I was asking you to make sure you did not change it."
Daren got up from the bed and put on his crimson shirt. He then proceeded to open the door and step out of the room.
Celina then wrapped his arms around her arms and said "Now we look more like a couple that's deeply in love." Her smile was too refreshing and her cute expression could probably give him a heart attack.
"Let's get going then, my dear 'husband'?" Celina's mocking tone made Daren take back at what he just said earlier. She might literally kill him with her own hands if her expression did not finish the job first.
The now, the perfect couple walked down the stairs and towards the dining hall of the inn.
The dining room was loud as always with people having energetic conversations. This lack of silence was considered peaceful around here.
When the customers of the place were eating their breakfasts peacefully, the sight of a crimson-haired goddess entered their sights.
It did not matter whether they were men or women, no one could bear the thought of looking away from the goddess. They dropped what they were doing and just gawked at her.
Even Lilith, who had just woken up and taken her post alongside her dad, could not help but look in admiration of this lady. She hoped to god that she could look like this one day.
The looks of all these people did not stay like this for long as they saw that someone had interlocked the arm of their goddess with his own. The men almost got up from their seats to approach the man.
Too bad that they were being held down by their women. The women were jealous of this goddess but they were glad that she was already taken.
They would not let these ugly men fight against the handsome, prince-like man that held the goddess as his own.
The quietness of the atmosphere broke when a random man yelled out "Isn't that Daren, the Unfortunate Cultivator."
"Daren the Unfortunate and Cultivator?" thought everyone as they took a second look at the blue-haired young man. "It really is him!" they realized.
In a single night of his sad story being shared throughout the city, Daren had already received a fitting title.
