**** Book 2, the Second Alternative Ending: Nightmares ****
"Yuki, I came to say goodbye," Kaede said, as he stared into the ocean.
He had come to visit her and the two of them were walking beside each other along the shore.
He was holding her hand in his when he suddenly stopped and pulled her close to him.
"What do you mean Kaede? Where are you going?" Yuki asked him as she stared into his honest cerulean eyes.
"To a world, your kind can only believe as an illusion." He met her eyes and tilted her chin.
He wanted her to understand but was unsure if she was capable of accepting something she had never known even existed.
"You came from another world, didn't you?" Yuki asked him like it was just nothing unusual.
"How did you know?" Kaede was shocked beyond belief.
