I took a deep breath and pushed the door open. It almost seemed like the wind was fighting me, pushing the door closed. "G-get the fuck back!!" Isaiah yelled. He was on the ground desperately crawling away from a masked figure in the house. In the fucking house?! The figure was holding their hands out and something big was in them, something moving.
"What the fuck is happening?!" Lily exclaimed. Isaiah didn't turn his head, didn't dare blink, just kept his eyes on the thing in the mysterious person's hands as he spoke, "Sp- hhh s," His voice was monotone as he stumbled over his words, "Spider." He rose a shaking hand and pointed ahead of him. The person calmly set it down on the floor and it crawl to Isaiah. Screams echoed through the room, the sound bouncing off the walls without an escape as he scrambled to his feet and jumped onto the couch. "Shoe." He said on repeat now pointing at the front door where everyone's shoes were. He was desperately scratching at himself as if a spider was crawling inside his skin.
Xavier cautiously walked to the shoes and picked two up. The first he threw over the stranger's head to Isaiah and the second he threw at their head. Unexpectedly, there was a noise on contact. With a thump, the stranger hit the floor. Isaiah held the shoe close to his chest and stood in the corner of the couch. "Calm down it's just a spider," Lexi began, "We should be worried about th-" She was cut off by a scream from both her and Isaiah when the spider lunged at the boy cowering on the couch. He dropped quickly and scattered away from it, still holding the shoe with one hand. "Okay, that's not terrifying at all." I muttered as I walked to the shoe Xavier threw at the person's head. It was a sharp soccer cleat. "Isaiah why do you have these? You don't play soccer." I questioned. "My dad wanted me to. Thing please." He answered, still scratching himself.
I walked to the couch and harshly threw the cleat at the spider. It stayed upright, it was stuck inside of the spider. "Okay, well that's over, Isaiah stop that, you're gonna hurt yourself." Kaylen warned. She was right, red streaks stained his skin, but that didn't stop him from itching at the imaginary spider crawling inside of him. "What do we do about this?" Lily reminded us all of the knocked out person, blood slowly streaming from their nose. "Fuck, the carpet." Isaiah muttered, he decided not to hear Kaylen's warning because he was still scratching at himself. "We should tie them up." Lily suggested. "With what?" I asked.
"Maybe we should throw them out." Xavier shrugged. "The window?!" My eyes widened, I feel like we've already done enough damage to the intruder. "Hunter..." Lexi sighed, "The door." Oh.
