"My offer is, you can all walk out of here, if you leave your friend here behind. Of course staying is an option, but that would rule out leaving."
Before anything could happen, I was thrown back. My face hit a fluffy carpet, of course it still fucking hurt. A soft ticking rung throughout the room, I lifted my head in an attempt to find that ticking and confirm I didn't hit my head too hard, but my jaw dropped and I scanned the room. It was like a mental ward or some shit, it had white padded walls and no furniture, that is if you don't count the white padded couch. In the corner across from the couch was the source of the ticking that was already hurting my head more than my nose hurt. A black digital clock with red numbers hung too high for anyone to reach, it was counting down from five minutes. Great, a reminder that my friends and my girlfriend are discussing whether to leave me or not. They wouldn't, would they? What if they do, I haven't exactly been friends with them as long as they have each other.
"Fuck..." I groaned dropping my head. Red blood stained the white carpet. I whipped my nose, sat up, and crawled my way to the corner across from the door. The clock counted down the seconds with every tick, and with every passing second of the door not opening I doubted they had chosen to stay with me. Do noses usually bleed this long? I focused on the sound of the clock to keep my mind from wandering. The five minutes had slowly passed by, the bleeding hadn't stopped, and my friends hadn't come. Oh my god they left me.
With the clock, the ticking stopped. The gentle ticking that kept me grounded. Why do my friends always leave me? In Colorado I never got so much as a text and now... well now they traded me in for them. I guess one is better than six lives lost. I would never had left any one of them locked in a room by themselves against their will. What the fuck? My nose definitely shouldn't still be bleeding right? Lily would probably have an answer, but no, she left me here. My girlfriend left me here! Oh, my girlfriend left me here. I broke up with someone for her. I wonder how Ariana Grande is doing? She's probably not being kidnapped. This is a grande problem.
