Chapter 2 - 2

Tia Janu sat crossed legged in her studio sofa, smiling to herself. She was shocked by the news from her old school. It was exactly a blow. She had taken school rather seriously, apparently because it was a private school for exclusively rich kids and she had been the mayor's daughter. It all seemed too soon and sudden, the exams, parties, prom, graduation, even going to college. But it was all over and now she had to find a job.

Tia Janu had dark hazel eyes, under a thin line of thick eyebrows and false eyelashes. An aquiline nose and full lips. Her skin was a bit dark and oily. She had frizzy grey hair. Her pretty body, medium chest, flat stomach, small waist, wide hips and long shapely legs gave her an hour glass figure.

Her life was all perfect. I mean what more could a girl want. Her dad was mayor, her mum a "simple" housewife, and her, the only child in the family. She had friends, had recognition, had boyfriends and best of all she had money. But she got tired of living with her parents and listening to their constant quarrels. Left to them she had gone to Harvard(and she had the brains) but now she ran all the way to Miami, for an adventure and some fun friends, not the classy, sophisticated spoilt bitches she was used to and which she also is.

Now her school(old school you would say) was closing down. Well it was none of her business, now she really did need to get a job, maybe making the fifty thousand dollars per month deal with her parents was not a good idea.

Miami was a fun place to be, assuming she could make friends easily without judging them, getting disgusted by their fashion tastes or irritated by their voices. She was never going to stop being the rich man's daughter she was.

Her house(an apartment) was beautiful, mostly because she'd spent all her money on it. It seemed like everything in Miami was all money, everything costly, or maybe it was because she was not used to paying her bills. The rent, credit card bills and her private(and expensive) health insurance and so on. It was January and her new year's resolution was to figure out what to do. This was going to take more than a day to think about. And the best place to think about it was at her favorite hangout, Levinder. It was an Asian fusion restaurant located in one of the major down town hotels, very cutting-edge and chic, and Tia somehow became friends with the owner. It was exceptionally good food.
