Chapter 4 - 3

Marrie-pierre Salvador, was walking quickly on six-inch heels. Given the uneven pavement and pebbles littering the sidewalk, she wasn't having an easy way of it. She also seemed distracted, rooting around inside an oversized handbag rather than keeping her attention on where she was going.

She was all curves, her coppery auburn hair. She had a wide hip, a flat stomach and a well rounded thigh. She had a very smooth milky skin and was thickly lashed with violet-blue eyes almost hidden. Marrie was so much delicate looking like an expensive China doll.

She was a frenchie, but she was born and raised in New Orleans. She left her "homely" mansion to find peace and independence. She had six siblings, they were blessed with wealth, but denied the one thing they craved for : a fathers love. Her father was in France, married to his mistress, Simone Ivat, her mum's best friend. With that Marrie-Pierre learned to trust no one. She had no friends, she didn't even go to school, she had a governess. A very pretty lady named Julianne. She taught Marrie lots of things that were not appropriate and then got engaged with Marrie's elder brother Leon somewhere in England.

She finally reached the sky scraper where she might get a job at. What does a child of a multi-billionaire need a job for? that was the first question she was asked before she was politely sent away. The truth of the matter was that her father cheated the father of the owner of the company so she wasn't invited. Imagine suffering for a man she had only seen in pictures. And whose business was it that she wanted to work and earn her own money. But if Chamex didn't want her, she sure as hell didn't want them too.

Marrie-Pierre took a taxi to an amusement park. Just to think, all her life she had been highly protected, brought up with pride. Her mum loved her, much more than any of her siblings. Madame Salvador had totally been against her living in Miami, but Marrie was just as stubborn as her old man, she kissed her mum goodbye and left. Only one of Marrie's siblings stayed home and that was Charlotte, she was an invalid, always sick, but very good at making dresses.

The park was filled with crazy people(at least from Marrie's point of view). She looked at the crazy, dangerous looking roller coaster, she had never been on one before but that didn't mean she was going to ride on it. She looked around for a minute and turned and walked all the way home. Home for now was a hotel(a seven star hotel) she should not be able to afford with all the saving up she was doing. She laid on the bed, took off her shoes and slept off.
