It is such a peaceful night. A peculiar hut stands in the middle of the forest.
The silence will be broken by stomping of horses of around 10, ridden by a bunch of knights. They stop in front of the hut.
"My King, this is the house," says Aztec, the Knight Commander.
King Silas, who is around 25 years of age, comes down from his horse. He examines the whole place. Then he proceeds into entering the house.
Inside the hut, a woman, who is probably in her 30s, is patiently waiting, seated in front of her crystal ball.
"I knew you'd come," the woman exclaims. "I have seen your arrival, Your Majesty."
"I presume you are the oracle," King Silas replied.
"Yes."
King Silas stares at her. "Then, I also presume there's not a need to explicate my presence?"
The oracle smiles. She stands up and meets the king eye to eye. "I know exactly why you are here, my King. All the kings who preceded you have had sought their fate from those who ascendants."
"Very well then, let's not waste such precious time with foolish chats. I wish to know what the future holds for me as the new king of Armadonia."
The oracle goes back to her seat and start doing some odd rituals. King Silas patiently waits.
"The crystal ball has spoken!"
King Silas impatiently replies, "Speak of what it says! Power? Honour? Greatness?"
The oracle isn't responding. It's as if she doesn't want to tell the king what the crystal ball is saying. Her face seems horrified.
After a few moments, King Silas draws his sword.
"My patience is running out! Speak now or your words will forever be drowned in peace!"
The horrified oracles utters out, "Death, my King! It speaks of death!"
King Silas gushes. He can't believe what he has heard.
"You are lying!"
"I hope I do, but the crystal ball never lies."
"Then who is it? Who would be responsible for my death?" the king asks.
The oracle asks the crystal ball. Then she exclaims, "A woman!"
"A woman?" the king laughingly replies, "you fool!"
The oracle presses her point, "But the crystal has never been wrong before."
"Then the crystal ball must have seen your own death," the king says as he instantly strikes his sword towards the oracle's gut. The oracle bleeds as she slowly lies down on the ground.
"You can't escape your destiny," the oracle declares before making her last breath.
"I can," the king viciously articulates before putting back his sword and leave the hut.
Aztec escorts the king to his horse. Before riding his horse, King Silas tells Aztec, "Aztec, from now on, all women must be suppressed. No woman should be in power. Control them. Instill fear on them. Strip from them their rights."
"How the about queen and the princess?" asked Aztec.
"I'll be in charge of them."
King Silas rides his horse and leaves. The knights follow him.
