Sorry guys, i couldn't write a chapter lately due to some problems, but now i'm free so i will update a chapter everyday. If you like my novel, you can vote and send power stone, comment if you have any review.

Inside the forest, Davis was running while dodging the obstacles, he wore new clothes that he brought from the system, they were of high quality, more sturdy and durable, the materials which they were made of looked like reptile skin. Their style is a bit different, a mix of old and modern style: black pants with grey lines on the right leg, a grey shirt, a black leather jacket with a grey mark on the right shoulder, white shirt and black shoes that were comfortable to wear. All of these clothes were a set of F-tier defensive armor, which is the highest grade he can wear now since he was just level 6.
Davis now looks like a character from some fantasy anime, with two black short swords hanging on his side, they were the rewards from killing the mutated beasts, as they were F-tier weapons which added some free attribute points to his, making him stronger.

After Davis wore the clothes and equipped the weapons, his attributes have increased.

Feeling more confident, Davis was running to his home as fast as he could, Elina was weak and alone and he knew from the system that the city was a living hell now, the undead were roaming there all day, while the hungry beasts never stopped hunting in the city.
Davis was running in the dense forest that was becoming darker and quieter since the sun was going down. While he was running, he kept slashing the plants to pave a way in this jungle, he also could feel malicious gazes fixed on his back and could hear the sounds of the growling beasts everywhere in the forest, his sensitivity have become much higher, he could feel his surrounding much better and was prepared for any beast beast that may try to attack him.
While Davis was slashing with his sword, he got a notification telling him that he had unlocked the basic skill 'sword mastery', this skill could be obtained by using a sword. It seems he can also obtain basic skills like spear mastery by using a spear, etc. The newly unlocked basic skill would start at level G, and can be upgraded further by training.
The sun had fully gone down and Davis was facing a bit of trouble running in the dim, dense and bushy forest with all the obstacles everywhere, so he started walking as he pulled out his other sword ready for battle, his instincts were warning him of the coming ambush.
If it was someone else, he may not see anything in this dark environment, but Davis' attributes were high enough to let him see clearly, his grey eyes kept moving left and right trying to catch the slight movement. Suddenly, bristling sounds came from the bushes near him, as a big shadow attacked him from the back. Feeling the threatening attack, Davis swung his sword with all his power which resulted in the sound of something sharp cutting through air. When the sword came in contact with the giant body, Davis felt as though he was cutting through butter.
"THUD".
The giant body fell to the ground with a whining sound, Davis could feel the hot blood that sprayed on his chest, the notification from the system came so he didn't need to check if the beast was dead or not.

"A level 3 mutated beast! that was easy" Davis thought as began to continue on his way, but before he could take the second step, another shadow came from above him.
Without using any flashy move, Davis just slashed his sword, he knew that the basic skill {Sword mastery} would be self upgraded with training, and his bad posture and amateur movement would be self corrected with time and practice. The black steel sword cut the falling beast into two halves.

Davis kept killing his way through the forest, before long he reached level 8 as the beasts never ended, they kept attacking him while he kept moving, since he couldn't climb from where he fell, the only way to return to the city was taking the long route until he found a place where he could easily climb.
The title 'Natural hunter' provided him with the necessary knowledge of how to move without making too much noise, it also gave him a better directions sense.
Davis suddenly halted his steps as he smelled a stinking smell, he just noticed that the beasts that kept pestering him stopped attacking him a while ago. An ominous feeling started to build in his heart, he felt a cold shiver in his back as he heard a faint sound of hissing come from above him.
The sound was faint and soft, but Davis felt like he heard the whisper of death, his body was tense and shivering, he wanted to raise his head and see what was making this sound, but his body refused to do so.
The situation was like this for a whole minute, the time seemed to stop for a moment before Davis suddenly kicked the ground with all his power and jumped back dodging the coming attack.
" BOOM" a loud sound was heard, the place where Davis was standing was now full of dust disturbing his vision.
Davis gained his balance as he was 10 meters away from where he was standing before, he could see a massive head looking at him with its yellowish cold eyes, the long body was half hanging from the huge trees.
The scene of of a massive shadow hanging from this enormous tree made Davis body cold, he felt a shiver run down his spine, his legs felt powerless, even though he was in a life and death situation before and his mentality was stronger than most humans now, he can still feel fear, witnessing such a huge predator made him remember that he was still a human.
The snake was more than 11 meters long, with a thick body that even three adults couldn't wrap their arms around it, its glossy scales shined softly under the faint red light of the 3 moons, they radiated and produced a dangerous halo, making Davis standing there like a stone statue. He wanted to run as far as he could, but the new bloodline inside him kept pressuring him to kill the snake, as if such a low creature wasn't a threat to him.
He kept observing the enormous snake, his palms were sweaty and the sweat dripped on the handle of his knife and made it a bit slippery.
His survival instincts won over his mind as he started to run back from where he came, but the snake had another thought as it wanted this intruder as a light snack tonight.
In a swift movement, the massive snake pounced on him with lightning speed with a hissing sound, the sound of air getting disturbed causing a sudden fierce wind loud enough to make Davis' heart skip a beat.
The time seemed to slow down as Davis used all his power dodging to the side, while the snake followed behind him. Without a choice, he turned around and dashed toward the snake gritting his teeth. His eyes turned cold when he remembered how he was almost dead three days ago and how powerless and pathetic he felt, those memories made him boil with anger and hatred.
The new bloodline inside him kept getting more berserk, making Davis' mind focus only on killing and destroying anything that may endanger his life, he released a war cry while dashing toward the beast, he slashed down his two swords with all his power into the snake head. When the two made contact, Davis felt as if he was hit by a truck, his bones cracked and his body was sent flying, he came into collision with a huge tree 20 meters away.
The impact made him cough blood, the pain was intense but it went faster than what it was supposed to be. His aching body healed fast, his high vitality attribute and his bloodline passive skill came to work. Davis, feeling astonished with his abilities, stood up with more confidence, he jumped on the groggy snake with blood-lust and excitement, it seems like the impact of their collision had affected the snake too.
Being able to fight to his heart content with his almost undying body, made him forget all his fears. One thought was on his mind as he went for the kill to gain more experience and become more powerful.
The snake, after the impact, was dizzy but that was all. It seemed that the swords couldn't cut through the tough skin of this vile reptile. Sensing the coming attack, the snake dashed ready for fight, it opened its mouth wide open to bite its prey, but that was a mistake, Davis with his high attribute and sharp sword, cut the inside of its mouth easily since the inside was softer without scales.
Davis never stopped his assault, he used the chance when the snake was hissing in pain and jumped on its head, since he couldn't cut through its hard skin, his only way to kill it was to pierce the brain through the eye.
He stabbed its eyes, burying the sword as deep as he could, the snake started writhing, sending Davis away from its head.
' It seems that the sword couldn't reach its brain', Davis thought as he stored his two short swords and picked a long F-tier spear from his inventory.
The snake got enraged after being injured in its eye, it launched its body without carrying about injuries toward Davis trying to restrict him and crushing him to death. But how could Davis let himself get caught that easily, he kept dodging and slashing with his spear, waiting for the snake to let it guard down.
The snake wasn't an easy opponent, as it was able to hit him more than once with its tail, making Davis' body trashed and injured all over.
Seeing that he couldn't let the snake let its guard down, he came up with an idea since he had a skill that wasn't used yet. The Anti-Energy manipulation may be able to pierce the snake though skin and scales, and since it was a bloodline skill, he can use it to some extent since the bloodline was fused with his, even though it was his first time.
Davis focused his mind trying to use the skill, a cold feeling invaded his mind and body, he could feel something moving inside his vessels healing and strengthening every inch of his body.
A dark grey gas started to leak out from his skin and covered him in a gloomy oppressive aura that made the enraged snake stop attacking and be on alert, it could feel that something had changed about its prey.
Feeling the surge of this new power made him excited to test it, he dashed into the snake while the spear in his hand started to be covered with the grey gas, he swung his spear down to the snake who used its thick tail to defend itself.
This time, the toughness of its scales didn't work against the Anti-Energy as the thick tail was almost cut from its body. Seeing this, Davis made a face full of excitement and his fighting spirit rose, he stored the spear and with his two short black swords he started attacking the snake that was now without any threat.
After 3 minutes of using the snake as a practice partner, Davis started to feel exhausted as his Aunt-Energy began to run out, he almost forgot that he can only keep this new energy for 4 minutes.
Davis wanted to fight the giant snake more but he couldn't let his emotions control him, so he dealt a clean finishing blow to its head which resulted in hearing the awaited notification.
