The return to Maiyang was not as fun-filled as the other the other demons were accustomed to and that was since a goddess was accompanying them. However, Puru had little to complain as sharing the ride with Dimuka meant being in close proximity to her, more chances to exchange little words every now and then. Yet, the goddess only offered curt replies and cold, distant looks. The cackles died whenever she entered the room as if a dark shadow cloaked her. The more the goddess refused to smile at a joke, the more Puru strived to make her smile. But so far, he had only lost this battle of wills. Puru was failing to break the armor that surrounded the heart of the ice queen.
"A warm bath will do."
The voice shook Puru out of his reverie. Harihar suavely drove his filly closer to Puru's. It was a white one, that was small but quick and its whinny was almost musical.
