Chapter 143 - The Endless Slumber- Part 4 [Vidyut]

That was how the fifth day went, in the midst of howling winds and flying branches. Vidyut had never face such extreme weather in this place and was now sure, each day was a new trial to Surya's meditation, caused by something beyond nature. That made him more determined to protect the man he loved.  Guru Briharshi and Vidyut agreed to withdraw the air wall once the storm subsided, which was not before the sun went down. For the rest of the evening and night, Vidyut tended to Surya the way he had done over past several days, sliding few drops of water through Surya's lips as best as he could. Surya's breathing was still sluggish but Vidyut was convinced it was as a result of the deep meditation.
