Chapter 87 - The God's Messenger [Mahathi]

Sage Mahathi sighed with relief when he found Lake Vihara uncrowded. On many occasions, a rendezvous with God King Arya at that location meant encountering scantily clad divine beings, engaged in amorous activities, and more. That was enough for Mahathi to want to wash his eyes with water from the river Ganges. For him, plucking on the strings of his veena in the name of his master, Lord Vishnu, was recreation enough. But today, he was fortunate that the vast lake was deserted, all peaceful and tranquil. Its water swirled time to time from a gentle breeze that carried with it the smell of the rarest and most fragrant of flowers. He also caught a scent that was unnatural to this place, a rare earthy smell that could only be of something from the nether land.
