Chapter 26 - The Flood- Part 2 [Puru]

Masses of people bent over the muddy lake bed, collecting fish, unaware of the rapidly approaching dam of water in the distance. Lord Gajanan had the same alarmed look as Puru. The beach had to be promptly evacuated. Not losing another second, the two gods dashed down the trail leading to the foot of the valley, shouting warnings to the passersby. Those on the beach heard their calls and looked around, catching a glimpse of the horizon, and there it was, a great looming shadow of darkness brandished with thunder and lightning, pummeling towards them. High winds began to sweep through the beach, bringing spray of mists from the oncoming tide.
