Chapter 7 - EPISODE 7: THE DESTINATION FOR THE DIFFERENT

PISODE 7: THE DESTINATION FOR THE DIFFERENT

When the old man sees that yūto is ready and in this piece one day after the morning meal comes the time of the basic test that will determine his future. So after they go out into the courtyard of the House appears opposite yūto the old woman, ready to face him in a battle. Yūto wonders and asks the old man, turning his head towards him)

OUTDOOR SPACE, IN THE COURTYARD OF THE HOUSE OF THE TWO TEACHERS-DAY

YŪTO

Why is the old woman opposite me, Master?

(The old man beckons yūto to be quiet by raising his finger in front of his mouth. Then she says to him in a stern tone:)

OLD MAN

Yūto, I am pleased to announce that your training is almost over-

(But before the old man has time to finish his sentence, yūto says with a smile on his lips ready to cry with emotion)

YŪTO

Really?! You're not lying to me?!

(The old man goes on saying)

OLD MAN

No, no yūto I'm not lying. I wish the truth were that you're not ready enough, but I can't lie to you. Yūto, I have known you for three long years and consider you my son. I want your good, and I insist that you think again about the decision you've made, I don't want you to go through everything that I've been through.

(The old man smiles)

OLD MAN

But you're a hard head, and when I see you smile, you give me strength to believe. Strength to clasp my heart and smile again. Yūto, Thou Art our sun and never forget this. But to get to the finish and finish you have to pass another test, this is a real battle with a demon.

YŪTO

What do you mean by that, master?

(The old man then says as he sits with his knees on the ground and at the same time has his hands inside the long sleeves)

OLD MAN

That's the point of your ordeal. You tell me what I mean. The only advice I can give you is to concentrate, don't just talk and face the demon in front of you.

(So yūto and the old woman are ready for the great battle. The old man says as he raises his right hand high)

OLD MAN

Take your positions! Ready?

(The old man abruptly puts his hand down saying:

OLD MAN

Start!

(The old woman looks yūto in the eyes, until yūto notices the old woman twisting her leg. Suddenly the old woman attacks yūto with a loud push that makes a puddle on the ground. So he has come very close to him, and yūto anxiously puts his hands in front of his face to ward off the blow of the old woman. With the force of her blow she hurls yūto backward. Yūto goes a few yards behind, and from friction raises behind his feet a little dust. Then yūto leaves his hands free and opens the palms of his hands, at once his hand is filled with the purple fire, closes the palms and the fire spreads up to his elbows. The sound of the fire being kindled is heard. Yūto clenching his teeth attacks the old woman, performing amazing attacks with his hands and with his feet. But the old woman repulses them with ease. With amazing humps in the air while from his feet coming out the purple fire tries to kill the old woman. After a few kicks he puts his hands down on the ground using the fire cycle movement. But the old woman catches yūto's leg. Yūto sweats and gets nervous. The old woman smiles slyly and flings him powerfully away. Yūto falls to the ground and from the force put by the old woman bounces and again falls to the ground as he is in motion, the third time he tries to fall to the ground he makes a sharp collotum and turns his whole body towards the old woman while with his feet and with one of his two hands he tries to stop slipping on the ground. Behind yūto rises dust due to friction with the ground. After he has stopped sliding on the ground he lifts his body while at the same time he has not raised his head yet. His head is lowered and he looks at the ground. So he thinks)

YŪTO

She's good. I didn't know she was such a good warrior, that old lady, even though she doesn't look like one. She looks so weak but she has an incredible power inside her.

(The old woman smiles)

OLD LADY

You're doing great .

(So yūto completes saying with her eyes closed and with a smile on her face)

OLD LADY

Try a little more and you'll make it, yeah? yūto.

(Yūto raises his head astonished while the old man yells at the old woman)

OLD MAN

Don't help him! Leave him alone, it's a fight with a real demon!

(The Old Lady smiles sweetly saying)

OLD LADY

Sorry, sorry, I missed it.

(From yūto's cheek flows a drop of sweat, then with a smile on his lips says to the old woman)

YŪTO

That's what I'll Do, Old Lady. I need a little more and I'll beat you.

(The old woman again attacks. Yūto starts running towards the old woman shouting)

YŪTO

AAAAAAAAAAAA!

(When they get too close, the old lady starts performing incredibly fast attacks. But yūto repels them all with incredible swiftness. The old woman and yūto perform incredibly fast attacks and repulses on each other that you can not see with the eye, and with the long sleeves that the old woman has and with the fire that yūto has expected throughout the battle the battle becomes more impressive. The old man sits on the ground and watches the impressive battle. At the time of the battle, the old woman tells yūto to make him give up)

OLD LADY

Mmm, son, I see you're not ready yet. How about quitting, it's for your own good.

(And he hits yūto by sending him meters away. Yūto has put his hands in front of his face repelling the attack of the old woman, then lowers his hands and cries)

YŪTO

Never! I HAVE A GOAL, A VISION, AND I WILL MAKE IT! I'LL MANAGE TO BE A DEMON HUNTER EVEN IF I HAVE TO DIE!

(The old woman lowers her head a little and looks at the old man. The old man in turn beckons to the old woman with his head to continue the fight)

OLD LADY

I see, hehehee.

(With a step rising behind her she reaches close to yūto, and with quick attacks tries to strike him. Yūto as he defends her burns her sleeves and the battle is even more impressive. The old woman uses her sleeves to burn yūto but something has changed. yūto angry and confident repels all the attacks of the old woman and nothing can defeat him. The old woman is frightened by the impressive attacks and repulses she makes. After a few minutes yūto finds the opportunity with both hands with open palms hits the old woman on the chest. The old woman with the force of yūto's blow pushes her a few yards back, and when she stopped slipping to the ground something changed. The old woman with the specific breaths that she took during the battle help her to concentrate and to see where the attacks of yūto come from {movement by blind technique and called balance breath}. But at the stroke of yūto the old woman lost the rhythm of her breaths. Yūto at the same time after he has stayed in the pose from where he pushed the old woman, he says)

YŪTO

Let's get this over with.

(Then he brings his left foot backward and treads with the sole on the ground to get on the ground and hurls himself towards the old woman. The old man is impressed and looks at yūto's pose, then smiles and closes his eyes. A gentle breeze fanned the ragged garments of yūto and the long sleeves of the old woman that above had its purple fire. Then with a loud step that makes a pothole in the ground he hurls towards the old woman, as behind the foot that stepped forcefully on the ground comes out the purple fire {this is the new move of yūto called fire flash, but he has not perfected it yet, we will see in the next episodes} so he approaches the old woman and begins to perform attacks with his feet while his hands are placed on the ground to stand upside down. He performs amazing semicircles and amazing kicks against the old woman while changing his hands fantastically to approach the old woman who repels his attacks and takes a few steps backwards. The battle is fantastic. Until it was time for the old woman to lose the battle. Finally yūto puts strength in his hands and soars high into the sky, the old woman from below looking at him with her eyes twinkling with anxiety. Yūto stretches one of his two legs out of the purple fire and falls upon the old woman. Meanwhile the old woman at the end just before yūto falls on her smiles slyly. So yūto falls upon the old woman and smoke spreads around them. The old man waits for the smoke to dissipate to face the winner. Finally the old woman lies on the ground with her hands covering her face, and yūto above her ready to strike her with his fist surrounded by the purple fire. The Old Lady then says with a sly look but so innocent and frightened)

OLD LADY

Don't, don't hit me. It's me, I'm the Old Lady. We're not rivals, we're one family. You're not gonna hurt your family, are you?

(yūto at that moment is as if he has awakened from a deep sleep, gets up and with terror in his eyes says)

YŪTO

What I went to do. I'm a monster! I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, are you okay?

(And he stretches out his hand to help the old woman to rise while at the same time from his shame he looks to the left. The old man smiles and shakes his head, he knows very well what the old woman is going to do. Before the whole old woman rises from the ground she strikes yūto with her fist. Yūto with red cheek falls down to the ground like a dead man. The old man gets up and says)

OLD MAN

Winner, The Old Lady!

(The old woman behind yūto celebrates and yuto has no idea what has happened, he just lies unconscious on the ground with white eyes. The old man and the old woman approach him. The old man while he is over yūto's head tells the old woman)

OLD MAN

You probably hit him too hard.

(The old woman makes a sharp movement of her long sleeves and extinguishes yūto's fire. Then he smiles, saying:)

OLD LADY

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to.

(The old man grasps one of yūto's two hands and says to the old woman)

OLD MAN

Come on, help me get the dead body home.

(The old woman catches yūto's other hand and they start dragging him home. As they carry him inside to lie down, the old man scolds the old woman)

OLD MAN

I love that I told you before the "Don't hit him hard" test. now he'll wake up after five days.

(The old lady tries to justify herself)

OLD LADY

It's not my fault! He put all his strength into it! What am I, a weak old woman?

(The old man sneers)

OLD MAN

Yes, yes, well, well, we thought you a weak Old Lady. Who are you selling these to?! Don't make fun of me!

(The old lady goes on saying with a persuasive look)

OLD LADY

Really, really! Look, he gave me a big bruise on my arm. I'm still in pain, don't you believe me?

(The old man says as they continue to drag him home with a serious stare)

OLD MAN

I can't deal with trivial things like that anymore. I have more important matters in my head that tyrannize over me.

OLD LADY

Example?

OLD MAN

What do you say we do? Passed or did not pass the test?

(the Old Lady then says with a smile on her lips)

OLD LADY

Listen carefully, old tree. He is a child who really wants it, his soul desperately asks for it. Do you remember us two when we made the same mistake?

(The old man answers with a serious look)

OLD MAN

I remember very clearly. That's why I want to stop him. Look at our end, look at them.-

(But the old woman interrupts the old man by saying)

OLD LADY

Oh old tree. All demon hunters like that will end up sooner or later. Their life is a one-way street, you know very well that he will not survive and in the end he and his team will die. But think of the hope it will give the world and inspire thousands of other people to fight for a better tomorrow. By me it has been perfected, but the matter is not more my own conclusion, but yours. You're his teacher, so you decide.

(The old man looks at the old woman, after a while smiles and says)

OLD MAN

I'm glad you're even with me.

(The Old Lady smiles while at the same time closing her eyes. The old woman and the old man go into the house and put yuto to bed. At night yūto sleeps, but a voice awakens him. It's the same voice as the one that distracted him in the balance test.)

AIKO

Bravo yūto, I knew you were strong. Do the best you can and we'll be with you.

(With these words yūto replies as he contemplates the image of his devoured village)

YŪTO

No, I'm weak. I'm a loser, I couldn't keep my promise, and now, now you're dead because of me. I will never see you laugh again, hold me in your warm arms, watch you grow up and become a beautiful girl, marry and have beautiful children. BECAUSE OF ME ALL THIS HAPPENED, I'M SORRY AIKO, I'M SORRY, BUT NO MATTER HOW SORRY I ASK NOTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE, NOTHING AAAAAAAAAAA!

(Immediately jumps forward, wakes up from the dream frightened and continues to shout)

YŪTO

AIKO, NO!

(Sweat rolls off his face and with quick breaths he tells himself as he slowly starts crying)

YŪTO

A nightmare it was, a nightmare it was only yūto, a nightmare, a nightmare.

(Clenches his fists)

YŪTO

No, no. It's a reality! It is, it is the truth! Because of-

(But he doesn't have time to finish his sentence because the Old Lady knocks on the door. Yūto looks at the door and wiping the tears from his eyes says)

YŪTO

Who is it?

(Then the old woman comes into the room with a bucket of water and a cloth. The old woman says with a smile to yūto )

OLD LADY

I'm sorry, son.I didn't mean to wake you.

(The old woman sits near him, and yūto says with a serious look looking at the mattresses)

YŪTO

No, no. It's Okay, I just woke up.

(The old woman leaves the bucket and with a smile joins her hands saying)

OLD LADY

Great, Come On, Come on, you're tired today, son. That's why I came to clean you up what I did to you, the wicked old hehe.

(Yūto looks at her and says with grave gaze and sigh)

YŪTO

No, no, you don't have to.

(The old woman grasps his shoulder and says with a smile and at the same time a stern tone)

OLD LADY

No yūto, I do.

(So the Old Lady cleaned up the bruises and blows she had made him. But yūto has a question, he takes a breath and says)

YŪTO

Why did you win?

(The old woman cleans the bruises on yūto's face)

OLD LADY

What do you mean, son?

(Yūto turns his back for the old woman to clean it)

YŪTO

Why did you give me that punch? I'm still in pain. I'm not in pain physically but mentally. I don't understand.I tried to help you, and you took advantage of it. You should have seen your look, it was so scared, you tricked me into a victory. Why all this?

(The Old Lady smiles as she continues to clear yuto's back)

OLD LADY

Mmm, I owe you a big apology, son. But…

(Takes a long breath)

OLD LADY

You're a very good boy, son. But you're dealing with demons.

(Yūto makes small and quiet groans of pain)

OLD LADY

The battle with you was done to present myself as a demon. If you were fighting a real demon and it took the form of a loved one, What Would you do?

(Yūto with anxiety and sadness replies)

YŪTO

I don't, I don't, I don't know what I would do then.

(The old woman finds occasion and says)

OLD LADY

I heard you talking yūto my child. Unwittingly I heard you call out the name aiko. What was that girl to you, son? You can trust me, just take out what you have, empty your soul with whatever black feeling you carry, empty it on me. That's why the teachers are next to you.

(Yūto takes a deep breath and answers with a serious look)

YŪTO

She was my stepsister. She raised me, she knew me as my family and even though I was different she loved me more than anything else. First me and then itachi hechee. She protected me like I was her real brother. For aiko it didn't matter that I was different, she loved my diversity among other people.

(Yūto starts and cries unable to control it)

YŪTO

And she always told me that I would save the world with the priceless power I possess, but I wouldn't listen to her. The only thing he wanted for me was to fight. Fight! We swore to protect each other. But, but I didn't make it! My sister was slaughtered by the Demons! She died leaving behind a big box of memories I don't want. I DON'T WANT THEM! I want to create new ones with her, but it's too late! IT'S TOO LATE TO MAKE UP FOR IT! I CAN'T MAKE IT UP TO YOU ANYMORE! I CAN'T SAVE! I CAN'T PROTECT HER! AND I HAVE TO, I HAVE TO LEAVE EVEN THIS BOX I DON'T WANT BEHIND ME! I HAVE TO MOVE ON WITHOUT EVEN A PICTURE OF HER! WITHOUT ONE LAST GOODBYE! WITHOUT A HUG! WITHOUT A LOVING KISS! AND MY COMPANION THE IMAGES THAT MY MIND REMEMBERS! THIS HURTS ME MOST OF ALL! WHY, WHY WOULD ALL THIS BE HAPPENING TO ME?!

(Yūto tries to wipe the tears from his eyes but they don't stop coming out and more)

YŪTO

That's why I want to be demon hunter! To avenge the loss of my family! I will not rest until I have killed the last demon and the soul of all rest! But I think at the same time, how many other people in this world will have died at the hands of these worms! And I want to stop that! To put an end to this horrible story! It hurts to see someone suffer! I WANT TO HELP HIM! I WANT TO SAVE HIM! I WANT TO PROTECT! But no matter how many demons I kill, the bitterness won't leave me! Nothing comes back! Nothing!

(The old woman embraces him while yūto continues to cry. Then in a low voice the old woman says to yūto and at the same time a tear rolls down her own cheek)

OLD LADY

That's right, cry. There's nothing wrong with crying. Cry for it all to go away. I can understand you, son. I understand what you're going through, I can understand you, I can... I can understand you, son.

(Yūto continues to weep while another tear flows from the old woman's cheek. After an hour after yūto stops crying, the old woman finishes cleaning the wounds on his back and puts the cloth into the bucket of water. Before leaving, however, the old woman concludes with a smile on her lips)

OLD LADY

Take care, son. We are with you, but when you fight you have to be focused on the fight and I guarantee you. I guarantee you, the old lady, that the soul of your family has already rested with what you have done and continue to do, and also what you will do in the near future. Because one day, remember my words, Son, you'll reach the top.

(With these words the Old Lady bade him good-night and went away smiling. Thoughts tyrannize over yūto, until he rises and climbs on the roof of the house, sits and looks at the stars in the sky)

OUTSIDE, ON THE ROOF OF THE HOUSE OF THE TWO TEACHERS-NIGHT

YŪTO

It's beautiful up here.

(He responds to himself with a smile, yet that smile is not slow to fade. Looking down in a serious tone he says:)

YŪTO

You think he's right?

(He looks up at the sky and says again)

YŪTO

It turns out it's hard mother, aiko. Sorry.

(A tear rolls from yūto's eye but a star falls from the sky, yūto's eyes start twinkling. On this occasion the star descends from the roof and sits down on the ground in front of the house, with his arms crossed and one fist hugging the other closes his eyes and sleeps. Then over yūto spreads a purple fire that covers him, but he does not see it because he has already fallen asleep. When he opens his eyes it is morning and the sun rises, he looks before him and a breeze takes all the weak leaves from the trees and travels them away. Then yūto gets up, yawns, and stretches himself. After a while he wakes up and the old man approaches him but yūto does not turn to face him, he has his head turned towards the ground as if something is troubling him)

OUTDOOR SPACE, IN THE GARDEN OF THE HOUSE OF THE TWO MASTERS-DAY

OLD MAN

Good morning yūto.

(Yūto terrified turns and looks at him)

YŪTO

Good Morning sensei.

(The old man looks at yūto who has a serious look

{Sounds of birds are heard} for a while quiet prevails. Then the old man says as he goes out into the garden)

OLD MAN

Let's get started. Last lesson, are you ready?

(Yūto slowly raises his head and in a calm voice and resolutely answers)

YŪTO

More than ever.

(The old man half smiles)

OLD MAN

Good, we'll start then.

(Picture: the birds sit on the branches of the trees and look at them while not omitted and the cherry blossoms that bloom on the branches of the trees and some leaves are picked by the wind and travels them where he leads them (cherry blossoms). The old man stands opposite yūto)

OLD MAN

If you want to be a demon hunter you won't have to content yourself with the fire you own.

(Yūto then says with a serious look while at the same time lighting the fire in his hand and looking at it)

YŪTO

I have no weapon but my fire.

(And he closes his Palm abruptly by extinguishing the fire. The old man sits down on the ground, puts his hands inside his long sleeves and says)

OLD MAN

Yūto you'll need something better than a fire.

(Yūto also sits down on the ground opposite him and with Wonder in his tone goes on saying)

YŪTO

What do you mean?

OLD MAN

It's not just fire your gun yūto. You'll need something much more effective in the battle against demons. You have to acquire a weapon, all demon hunters own one regardless

from what techniques they use. You, for example, possess the art of fire. The art of fire is the most powerful and effective technique against demons that a warrior could possess. Even with this powerful technique you won't be able to travel very far.

(Yūto sneers and with closed eyes thinks)

YŪTO

Big deal. You just go and buy one, so easy hehe. Like I'm looking for a gun, CHK.

(But before he opens his eyes, the old man answers)

OLD MAN

For one who has not yet discovered the technique he will use, what you think is absolutely right. But you don't. You have the ability to create the weapon that will accompany you on your journey and not be made by a cheap blacksmith. Unless it's the…

(The old man goes to say a name (sora's father we will see in season 2) but stops and says Sad)

OLD MAN

No one can, my fault.

(Yūto stays with open mouth surprised saying in a loud voice)

YŪTO

WHAT?! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO CREATE A WEAPON OUT OF NOTHING!

(The old man rises from the ground saying with his back turned to yūto)

OLD MAN

Yūto.

(Yūto stops yelling and gets up off the ground)

YŪTO

Yes, sensei.

OLD MAN

Yūto, stop whining like a baby child and listen to me. There are five techniques in this world. The technique of fear, the technique of calm, the technique of sensations, the technique of skill and yours. The technique of creation. Fire is a symbol of rebirth and a new day to come. Do you know what the most beautiful part of a hunter's day is? When the sun rises. This is what I will propose to Thee, My son, shine like The Sun that rises every day.

(Yūto is nervous and says to the old man)

YŪTO

But I-

(But the old man beckons him to be silent)

OLD MAN

You're a great warrior. You are strong, bold and filled with rich emotions that will guide you to the end of your life. Never lose faith in yourself. Because that's the key to what you're looking for.

(Then the old man begins to walk towards yūto. When he arrives in front of him he catches him by both shoulders and with a smile says)

OLD MAN

You have to find it yourself. Unfortunately, I can't help you, but that doesn't mean I won't be walking behind you. Walk yūto! You have to prove to yourself that you really want to become a true demon hunter. So, are you ready to give your life to save the weak?

(Yūto squints, but courageously replies)

YŪTO

Yes! Yes, I do! That's all I live for and breathe for.

(The old man turns to go, and as he moves away says)

OLD MAN

Mmm see, good luck then. Lesson over.

(Yūto looks in wonder at the old man and runs to catch up to ask him)

YŪTO

Wait! Tell me at least where I find it? What do I do?

(The old man looks at him, and grasping his white moustache says pensively:)

OLD MAN

Xmm, actually I don't know where either.

(Yūto falls to the ground in despair)

YŪTO

Really?

(Then he gets up saying)

YŪTO

That hurt.

(The old man, however, has continued to walk towards the house without paying any attention to it. Then yūto with nerves and cries)

YŪTO

WHAT DO YOU MEAN, YOU'RE MY TEACHER AND HE DOESN'T KNOW?!

(The old man walks into the House ignoring yūto while yūto keeps yelling)

YŪTO

COME BACK! WHERE ARE YOU GOING, COME BACK!

(Yūto sits down on the ground thinking how to obtain a weapon. In his mind come the words of the old man)

OLD MAN

So, are you ready to give your life to save the weak?

(Another expression comes to yūto's mind)

OLD MAN

Never lose faith in yourself. Because that's the key to what you're looking for.

(Yūto replies to himself)

YŪTO

What he wants to say in these words, I do not understand. Damn, what riddles are these.

(The day has passed and the night has come. Yūto climbs back to the roof of the house thinking only about how to get a weapon, he looks up again at the stars in the sky)

OUTDOOR SPACE, ON THE ROOF OF THE HOUSE OF THE TWO TEACHERS-NIGHT

YŪTO

Father, help me. You said that no matter what happens, you'll be there for me.

THE FLASHBACK BEGINS:

(Father tells yūto before bidding him farewell)

FATHER

But I will never leave you. Together we'll walk, together we'll eat, together we'll fight the demons, I'll be by Your Side in everything. Think I'll be a spirit following you, I'll be able to see you but you don't, you have to imagine me, okay?

(Yūto raises his head high and says

YŪTO

Promise? I promise you'll be with me?

(Father smiles and closes his eyes)

FATHER

Mmm, promise, forever?

(And he stretches out the little finger of his hand. Then yūto also with the little finger of his hand grasps the finger of the father. Yūto smiles and closes his eyes)

RETURN FROM THE FLASHBACK OF THE PAST:

(Yūto comes back from the flashback and looks at the sky again. At that moment a shooting star crosses the sky, it's like it's leading him somewhere. The star falls behind a mountain, yūto stands up on the roof of the house and looks at the mountain)

YŪTO

It's beautiful. How had I not seen it for so long?

(His eyes tremble, he descends from the roof and walks to the beginning of the forest, there he stops. The old man approaches him and stands beside him. So the two men looked into the Black Forest. After a while the old man asks yūto)

OUTDOOR SPACE, IN THE COURTYARD OF THE HOUSE OF THE TWO TEACHERS-NIGHT

OLD MAN

Did you see the mountain, son?

(Yūto shakes his head affirmatively)

OLD MAN

And why don't you go explore it?

(Yūto turns his back towards the forest and going back to the House says)

YŪTO

I'm not ready yet to put myself in danger.

(The old man continues to look at the forest asking yūto

OLD MAN

Aren't You Ready, son?

(Yūto turns and looks at the old man, then with grave gaze answers)

YŪTO

Yeah, I'm not ready.

(The old man looks at yūto and continues to ask)

OLD MAN

Says who?

(Yūto tries to speak calmly but in vain. So he starts shouting)

YŪTO

Me! I say! I Killed My family! I didn't keep my word to protect the most precious thing I had! And now ... and now I'm trying to find a sword that it's hopeless to find! It's beyond my power! I'm a loser, I should die and be eaten by demons! At least I'd die with my sister in my arms!

(The old man approaches yūto and slaps him in the face. Yūto bows with his gaze turned toward the ground. The old man with nerves says)

OLD MAN

Now you're useless! Now you're pathetic for saying all this crap! Snap out of it, boy! Really see who you are. We both know you're not responsible for the loss of your family. You are a good man yūto my son, this is what you chose in your life

(With these words, in the mind of yuto comes the memory of the death of the mother)

THE FLASHBACK BEGINS:

MOTHER

Why not, you are strong, you have always been strong and we will stand by you yūto. But don't let your power drag you down. Remember that you choose who you want to be, choose the right one, son. Put all these black feelings behind you, do not be tyrannized by the thoughts of the past but, think and create with light colors the future. Your life is in your hands, grab it and don't leave it until the end.

(The mother smiles, and as a tear falls from her cheek to the ground, at the same time her hand falls also to the ground. Her breath stops, these are her last words before she draws her last breath. Yūto comes back from the retrospect, raises his head and faces the old man before him. The old man says in a stern tone)

RETURN FROM THE FLASHBACK OF THE PAST:

OLD MAN

Everything you desire to conquer takes effort and faith. Believe in yourself and don't give up, damn you.

YŪTO

That was it, that was the first rule you taught me in the first lesson. And I'm telling you I'm not gonna give up, it's just that when you know you're responsible for the loss of your family, you can't accept it. You're filled with remorse and anger, you want to change the events of the past but it's too late. WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT, WHAT?!

(So yūto begins to weep again, but the old man answers him with a serious look)

OLD MAN

What do I want? I do not want anything yūto my child, the real question is "what do you want?". I know it's hard, but get over it.

OLD MAN

There is the true power of demon hunter. In your inability to find your strength and move on. So get up and move on! With you we are all, but you are so blind and by the people who master the technique of the blind! You cannot see beyond the black veil of sorrow and disappointment that covers you.

(The old man smiles, puts his hands inside the long sleeves and walks away. When the old man left, yūto sits down on the ground, bends his head and thinks)

YŪTO

I'm stupid, what am I saying? But I don't know anything that draws me into this forest. I want to learn, I want to find that power that the teacher says, but ... but.

(Yūto raises his head and says to himself)

YŪTO

No! No buts! I will! I will not give up so easily, my weakness will turn into my strength!

(With a step he enters the forest and as he runs he thinks at the same time)

YŪTO

I'll make it, because I promised my mother, aiko, my father and everyone I never had time to face! It's a promise I'm not going to break! Not now! Not tomorrow! NOT IN THIS LIFE!

(There appear in yūto's mind various moments of his life spent with his mother and aiko. With the fire in his hands yūto runs through the forest with his arms backward and his body forward. It is not long before the first demons come out, they are various strange creatures without horns but with pointed teeth, with unnatural color their eyes and with pointed claws as the veins become visible on the skin of all demons. But yūto is not afraid, so with the fire lit he makes a leap over the first demon and with the foot from where the purple fire comes out beheads him. Then he surprisingly beheads the second demon. The heads of the Demons are slain one after another and blood fills the ground. Yūto puts his hands down on the ground, puts strength in his hands, and with both feet from where the purple fire comes out is blazed in the face of another demon who comes at speed towards him. The Demons try to kill yūto by making moves with their claws, but yūto with amazing control over his fire and the balance he holds decapitates all the Demons. Finally with a push of his foot that makes a dent in the ground he exults in front of the last demon and as he is in the air with his fist makes an attack to kill him. The demon's head is hurled into the air. Yūto lands on the ground, then the demon's head falls to the ground and after a while his body also falls as from there all the blood starts to come out and water the ground. The similar sounds are heard that the demon's head is blown off and his body falls to the ground as well as the sounds that the Demon makes as his head is cut off. Yūto then looks at his fist which has been filled with blood, then lights his fire and the blood burns. The faint sound of the fire is heard. Then yūto starts running again to reach his destination which is the mountain. Running through the forest he sees a demon with white horns and the color of his iris is yellow while the (White of his eye) is black as the veins and the pointed teeth are not omitted. The demon appears through the Black Forest, smiles satanically saying)

DEMON

And I thought I wouldn't eat dinner today, lol.

(Yūto is left stationary and anxious. The demon keeps on talking until he sees his ears. The Demon is amazed and with a demon smile says)

DEMON

D-D-demi man! Today is my lucky day lol! This opportunity I will not leave untapped, I will not miss this precious opportunity to steal your technique.

(At once the demon attacks while yūto opens his palms. The sound of the fire is heard. As he repels all the attacks of the demon, yūto thinks while also clenching his teeth)

YŪTO

He can't, he can't! He has, he has horns! Why is he different from other demons? He's not like the first demon I've faced, what's going on here?

DEMON

I see you've made quite an impression on my horns, little hechee. You're still new, and from what I can see, your teachers haven't even taught you the basics. You were sent to die young as a consumable man.

(The demon forcefully paws the ground and hurls himself upward, then makes a movement from above with his sharp claws to kill yūto. Yūto makes a kolotumba and avoids the demon building. The demon with the power that has broken the ground, looks at yūto and smiles slyly. Then again like lightning she lies beside him and goes to pierce the pointed and long claws through his head. Yūto leaps aloft, and The Talons of the demon are nailed to the tree. On this occasion yūto lights the fire on one of his two legs, makes a kolotuba and passes through the demon's hand breaking it. The demon's hand has been cut in half and he has fallen to the ground. Then with a fiendish smile he steps back a few steps.)

DEMON

Thank you, I didn't need that hand lol-lol-lol. It will not prevent me from tasting the taste of your blood and flesh on my lips lol. I'll fight, I'm so close! I'm so close to getting what I crave from you! You haven't been able to protect her, what a disappointment.

(Yūto is stressed and sweat is streaming from his face)

YŪTO

He's crazy! Does he want to carry on even if he doesn't have a hand?!

(The demon soars forward and arrives in front of yūto, with a hushed voice whispering in his ear)

DEMON

What happened to your family, kid?

(Yūto is surprised and not concentrated. Because of this the demon finds the opportunity and kicks him with the result that he sends yūto away and hits on a trunk of a tree. After yūto gets up with difficulty from the ground he answers the demon with nerves)

YŪTO

WHAT DID YOU SAY?!

(The demon stays in the same spot from where he struck yūto. All he does is take an attack stance by putting his right hand with sharp claws next to his head, ready to attack and Pierce yūto's head. Then he answers with irony)

DEMON

Didn't you hear, Kid? I'm talking about your sister! I can admit her blood tasted good, the same goes for your mother's, that whore Hahahahahahahahahaha!

(Yūto is pissed)

YŪTO

Stop! SHUT UP, YOU BASTARD! Shut up! PREPARE TO DIE! I'LL CUT YOUR HEAD OFF RIGHT NOW!

(And he bends his head down to the ground. Then the demon laughs fiendishly)

DEMON

Hahahahahahahahaaaaaa! The truth hurts, huh kid? Feel, feel. Feel the sadness and anger take over you! You couldn't save her! BECAUSE OF YOU, ALL THIS HAPPENED. IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REMEMBER! IT'S YOUR FAULT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

(Yūto raises his head towards the demon and answers again with nerves)

YŪTO

And how do you know all this?! WHY DO YOU KNOW ALL THIS?!

DEMON

It's a secret. We demons are everywhere, we know everything and always.

(Yūto clenches his fist, and around the fist the purple fire surrounds him. The Demon runs towards yūto and when he gets too close to him a wonderful duel ensues. The demon performs rapid attacks and repulses with his feet and with his one hand, while yūto also performs rapid attacks and repulses with his hands and also with his feet surrounded by the purple fire. The battle is amazing and as they fight the demon tells to make yūto give up)

DEMON

I think even your sister will be ashamed of you after all you've done to her. You don't know how to keep your word, what kind of person are you? RIGHT, YOU'RE NOT HUMAN! YOU'RE A MONSTER!

(At once the Demon makes a small jump and as it is in the air makes a round kick. Yūto receives the kick and rushes back, slams against a stone and falls to the ground as blood rushes from his mouth and with a tear rolling down his cheek. Then as long as he can't get up off the ground he says before closing his eyes)

YŪTO

No. No, my sister would never say that. I ... I ... I'm not responsible for what happened. I swear it's not my fault, it's not... mine.

(He closes his eyes as the last image he sees is the demon coming towards him. Yūto enters into a dream, from his round he has only black prevails. He stands up and looks around him)

YŪTO

What, what is this place?

(Behind yūto is waiting for a girl, is aiko. Yūto turns and looks at her, his eyes twinkling as tears start rolling down his cheeks. Aiko approaches him and smiles)

AIKO

Hello, My Little Brother, My yūto.

(yūto falls with his knees down on the Black ground and begins to cry. Aiko smiles and approaches him)

AIKO

Yūto, why are you crying? Did I do something I shouldn't have done?

(Yūto without raising his head wipes his tears)

YŪTO

I'm not gonna make it.I really want to be a demon hunter, but I can't. I don't have the strength it takes to become a demon hunter and you know what my strength is, aiko? You! You are my strength aiko! You! And I didn't keep you with me! I let you go to another place away from me where there's no going back, why?! Why?! Damn it! DAMN ME!

(Yūto continues crying and wiping away his tears. Aiko bends over, sits on the Black ground with her knees and hugs him)

AIKO

Why are you crying yūto? There's no need to cry, because I didn't leave. I'll be here with you. I promise! You are not worthless yūto, you have a sun in you called Faith and that will make you stronger. You want to change this world, save the helpless and the weak, but you won't be able to make it if your mind plays bad games. So control your thoughts and feelings, yes?

(Aiko smiles sweetly while her eyes are closed)

AIKO

I know it's hard to say goodbye. But where you ache there, Yonder you will find the strength you seek, and I will walk behind you, and not alone hehe.

(Yūto looks at her in tears)

YŪTO

What do you mean, not alone?

AIKO

Nothing, nothing. You'll learn when you need to learn, yeah? Until then, get up and move on.

(Yūto rises from the ground and turns his back on aiko, takes a deep breath and takes the first step to walk through this black space. Directly he comes out of the dream and in front of him sees the demon telling him in an ironic tone)

DEMON

Say good night to your life, little lol.

(The demon puts down his hand to cut off his head. Then yūto puts strength into his hands to make a small jump and thus manages to catch the demon's head with his feet. He then puts one of his two hands back on the demon's back and in doing so manages to escape. The demon turns his head back and says with irony)

DEMON

Hehehee good grief. So you're not giving up huh hahahahahahaha. If you're sure to die, why are you still trying?

(Yūto bends his head and answers in a calm voice)

YŪTO

Nothing's over yet. Believe in yourself, yūto, you may not be responsible for the death of aiko and mother, but you may also be responsible. Hehe doesn't matter anymore. I will kill all the demons and save the people of this world even if it's the last thing I do.

(The Demon makes a sharp step like lightning approaching him. On his face he has a certainty that he will kill him but when he stretches out his hand with the sharp claws to pierce him, yūto thinks by taking a step to the side)

YŪTO

Not today, I want one more day to save. One more day to explore tomorrow. One more day to live!

(In slow motion the demon turns his gaze towards yūto. The demon's look filled with anxiety and fear, and sweat rolled from his face. At the same time yūto smites the demon's face with his knee. The demon hurls himself upon the sky, and in an attitude of attack yūto hurls himself a little higher and behind the demon, lights the fire in one of his two hands. The demon turns his head in slow motion to face yūto. So with horror he sees only his hand directed towards him. Yūto, with the power of purple fire, strikes the demon with the result that he cuts off his head. First on the ground falls the demon's body and then his head as blood starts to come out of the demon's body and fill the ground, the similar sound is heard that his head is hurled and his body falls to the ground. Yūto then lands on the ground, after a while evaporates the demon's body in the form of ashes. Yūto continues his way to the mountain)
